Jessie was born in Centreville, MS on July 16, 1932 to Lucy and Karl McGraw. She graduated from Centreville High School and attended Jones Jr. College. Jessie married Joe Crawford in 1952 and remained happily married for 68 years. They had 3 children, Donald, Ginger, and Thomas. Jessie and Joe lived in Jackson, MS until their retirement years when they moved to Lena, MS. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, and crafting.
Jessie is preceded in death by her parents, Lucy and Karl McGraw; brothers, Haden, Karl, and Robert; and sister, Brooksie.
Jessie is survived by her children, Donald (Jane), Ginger Joe (Eddie), and Thomas; sisters, Rosalie Neeves, Evelyn Freeman, Joyce Cupstid; grandsons, Edward Joe (Kaylee), Stephen Joe, and Peyton Joe; and great-grandson, Connor Joe.
Due to the current circumstances, the family held a private graveside service at Parkway Memorial Cemetery in Ridgeland, MS.
