

Funeral services will be held at 10:00am Friday December 31, 2010 from the Chapel of Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home Highland Colony, Ridgeland, MS. Visitation will be from 9:00am till service time. Burial will be in Parkway Memorial Cemetery.
Justin was born March 23, 1981 in Flowood, MS and grew up in Brandon, MS, where he attended Northwest Rankin and graduated from University Christian School. He attended Hinds Community College in Raymond where he was a Dean’s Scholar and obtained a degree in Landscape Construction and Irrigation. Since his graduation from Hinds, he worked as an account manager for several Landscape Management firms in the Washington D.C. area. He had projects in Virginia, D.C. and Maryland. He also worked in the same field in Honolulu, Hawaii.
Justin had a passion for the Lord, his family, life, his friends and music. He ministered to all of us who loved him and those who needed help. His friendship was unconditional.
Justin played baseball for a number of years in the Northwest Rankin Athletic Association and football at University Christian School where he received the ‘Flame Award’ for fire and team spirit, the ‘Most Improved Player’ and the ‘Pack It Out Award’.
While working at Ruppert Nurseries in Virginia, he received the 2006 ‘Impact Award’ for having the most positive influence for the company and fellow workers. He achieved the status of “youngest area manager” while there.
Justin had a God given ability for music and played the guitar often with his friends. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, hiking and playing with his nieces and nephews.
Justin is survived by his sister Melanie and her husband Benjamin Hall of Brandon, MS, sister Amanda McLaughlin and her husband Dr. Robert McLaughlin of Manchester, MA, parents Terry and Ron Hartley of Brandon, MS, grandparents Pearl and Gil Crumbley of Brandon, MS and Myrle Hartley of Brandon, MS, nieces and nephews Abbey and Brendan Hall, and Caitlin and Robbie McLaughlin. His grandfather Prentiss Hartley of Brandon, MS, precedes him in death.
The family would like to express their deep gratitude to those who tirelessly cared for Justin and us while he was at Central Mississippi Medical Center.
