She was born November 5, 1956, in Jackson the daughter of Marshall G. Jenkins and Olivia Burrell Jenkins. She was united in marriage to Robert Gaston, Sr.
Karen is survived by her husband Robert, Sr., their sons; Robert Jr, Nicholaus, and Ian of Ridgeland, MS; Angela Visser of Oxford, MS; Brother Marshall Jenkins (Sondra Jenkins) of Jackson MS; Mother Olivia Jenkins
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 16, 2012 at Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home on Highland Colony Parkway, Ridgeland, MS. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. also at Wright and Ferguson.
