Lottie Watts

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by Charlie Watts, her husband of 62 years who passed away in 2011. Mrs. Watts was also preceded in death by one son Ron Watts, five Sisters, and one Brother. Lottie is survived by one daughter Cheyrle Peebles (Buster) of Madison, two sons, Jerry Watts (Sandra) of Madison and Gary Watts (Gay) of Raymond. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Rob Peebles of Ridgeland, Olivia Watts of Raymond, Amber Johnson of Zachary, Louisiana, and Josh Hockenberry of Madison, four great-grandchildren, Ben, Matthew, Ethan and Lucas Johnson all of Zachary, Louisiana, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Lottie was a longtime employee of the MS State Tax Commission where she retired after 30 years of service. She was a faithful member of Alta Woods Baptist Church in Jackson, Mississippi where she taught in the preschool department for 20 years.

Visitation will be held Thursday, January 3, 2019 at Parkway Funeral Home from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm with Celebration of Life services immediately following.
