She was born at home on November 18, 1929 to Loretta Stakelum Doran and John F. Doran of Donaldsville, LA. Marion was a homemaker for most of her married life, caring for her four children. Later, she was a long-time valued employee for Conoco Food Stores in South Jackson until her retirement.
Marion is survived by three children, Cathy Duke (Paul Allen), Lisa Henderson (Derek), and Ken Lovvorn (Beth); seven grandchildren, Chance Lovvorn, Hunter Lovvorn, Olivia Lovvorn, Adam Hancock, Whitney Godbold (Gabe), Drew Henderson (Jessie), and Anna Claire Henderson; and four great-grandchildren, Reed McCrillis, Myles Godbold, Peyton Hancock, and Derek Andrew (Tripp) Henderson III. She is preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Earl (Doc) Lovvorn and her daughter, Vicky Lynn Lovvorn.
There will be a private family service where she will be laid to rest at Parkway Funeral Home in Ridgeland, MS.
