

Stephanie Jo Fulmer Williams, 46, died April 24, 2018, at her home in Madison, Mississippi, after a lengthy illness. She was surrounded by the love of her family when she peacefully joined her Lord and Savior in heaven. Visitation will at Highland Colony Baptist Church in Madison, MS at 3:00pm Sunday April 29, 2018 followed by a memorial service at 4:00 pm.
Stephanie was born on June 16, 1971, in Greenville, Mississippi, to her loving and devoted parents, Robert and Joan Fulmer. She attended Greenville Christian School where she graduated in 1989. While in high school, Stephanie was a cheerleader for the GCS Saints. Her beautiful smile, kindness, and school spirit won her the respect and admiration of her classmates who elected her homecoming queen her senior year. After graduation, she attended Mississippi College and graduated with a degree in Social Work. She worked as a social worker for many years before her illness. She loved being able to care for others until she was no longer able to do so. Stephanie attended Calvary Baptist Church while growing up in Greenville and was a member of Highland Colony Baptist Church in Madison. She was a devoted mother to her children, Hope and Drew, and loved being their biggest supporter and fan.
Stephanie is survived by her daughter, Hope Elizabeth Williams; son, Andrew Travis Williams; parents, Robert and Joan Fulmer; two sisters, Pam Fulmer and Amy Phillips (Ken); and two nephews, Logan Phillips and Cole Phillips (Amanda). Her family and close friends were devoted to her care and supported her with love and devotion throughout her long battle with her health.
Stephanie’s family would like to express their sincere and heartfelt gratitude to Baptist Hospital in Jackson, Mississippi, especially the nurses and staff of the AICU and PCU units for their continuous love and care for Stephanie over the past eight years. The family will forever be grateful to Dr. Michael Byers, Dr. Tim Cannon and their staffs for their devotion and concern. The family is also thankful for the care provided for Stephanie by Sta-Home Health & Compassus Hospice Care in Madison which gave them the opportunity to spend as much time as possible with her in the comfort of her own home.
