Graveside services will be held 11:00 am Saturday March 19, 2011 at Parkway Memorial Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am till 11:00am Saturday at Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home Highland Colony Ridgeland, MS.
Mrs. Brown had lived in the Jackson Metro area since 1987 moving here from Virginia Beach, VA.
She was a member of Broadmoor Baptist Church where she was active in Bible Studies and the W.M.U. at the church. She loved reading and sewing. She retired from the Department of Defense in Norfolk, VA. She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Freeman Brown after 70 years of marriage.
Survivors include her daughter Marie and husband Jim Myers of Jackson, MS., grandchildren, Robert and wife Debbie Myers, Oxford, MS., Dan and wife Michele Myers, Madison, MS., Sandra and husband Charlie Allen, Jackson, MS., great- grandchildren, Jimmy Myers, Sarah Myers, and Christie Allen,a brother Henry A. Mizelle, Selma, AL.
