William “Mark” Holley, 55, of Flora, Mississippi passed away on Monday, March 8, 2021. A funeral service will take place at Flora Baptist Church on Thursday, March 11, 2021 at 11:00 am with visitation one hour prior.
Mark was born on July 28, 1965 in Jackson, Mississippi. He lived in Flora all of his life, where he was a member of Flora Methodist Church. He worked for Trilogy Communications for thirty years as a line operator.
Mark was an avid Mississippi State fan, and he absolutely loved his Bulldogs. He attended games any time he got the opportunity, and enjoyed any sport the Bulldogs participated in. He also greatly enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews, whom he took great pride in.
Mark is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, William A. Phillips, Jr. and Ouida Phillips; his paternal grandmother, Lorraine Holley; and his beloved Labrador, Sugar.
He is survived and lovingly remembered by his parents, Danny Louis Holley and Suzanne Phillips Holley; sister, Dana Saxton and husband Mike; paternal grandfather, William L. Holley; nieces, Lauren and Chrissy; nephews, Cody and wife Sarah Beth, Shane and wife Christie, and Michael; and great-nieces, Swayze and Shaylee.
