William (Bo) Walter Norcross, Jr., born June 11, 1961 in New Orleans, Louisiana, passed away Monday October 22 at River Oaks Hospital after a brief illness. He was preceded in death by his parents, Olive and William Norcross Sr. He graduated from Callaway High School in 1978 and was a lifelong Ole Miss Rebels fan and animal lover. Bo entered the United States Navy at the age of twenty-two and proudly served as a radioman for nine years, traveling all over the world. He was stationed on several different aircraft carriers including the USS Ingersoll and the USS Enterprise. At the time of his death, he was employed by Adams and Reese, LLP in Ridgeland. He was a fun-loving, patient brother and uncle to his family members as well as a “gentle giant” to his many friends.
He is survived by two sisters, Sue Norcross and Rosa Halloran and one brother, Gus Norcross as well as a sister-in-law, Erin Norcross and a brother-in-law Jim Halloran. He also has one nephew, Carson, as well as five nieces, Anna, Ellie, Mallory, Caroline and Samantha.
Visitation is Saturday October 27 at Parkway Funeral Home from noon until two o’clock with service immediately following.
