Winnie Kay Reinhardt passed away peacefully in the presence of her children on Friday July 24, 2020. She was a resident of Beau Ridge Memory Care Facility in Ridgeland, MS. She was suffering from the end stages of dementia.
Winnie Kay was born in Wilson, North Carolina on April 21, 1939. She and her family moved to Pensacola, Florida. She met the love of her life there, Ray Reinhardt, and they moved to Jackson, MS in 1971. They opened World's Bedspreads, later known as Ray's Fine Linens. They worked side by side for over 35 years and made a great team together.
Winnie Kay loved Pear Orchard Presbyterian Church and was a member from the beginning. She was very involved with Bethany Christian Services, as a foster mom of over 50 babies and a board member. She was also involved with Joni and Friends ministry. Winnie Kay always put others before herself. A true example of loving and caring for others as she lived out her Christian belief and faith.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Ray Reinhardt, her parents, Red and Eunice Warren, her sister and brother in law, Mack and Dot Lucas.
She is survived by her children Christy Adcock (Mitchell), Wendy Herring (Lee), Randy Reinhardt (Shari) and Matthew Reinhardt all from the surrounding area. Winnie Kay leaves behind 13 grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter, and a nephew and niece from Macon, GA.

Burial will be at Parkway Memorial Cemetery in Ridgeland, MS. The family will have a private family service at a later date due to the corona virus concerns.
