Betty Jean Sanders Lawrence Yeatts

She was born October 13, 1939, in Martinsville, VA to John and Geneva Sanders, both deceased.

She was also preceded in death by a sister, Mary Doss, and a brother, Johnny Sanders.

She is survived by her daughter, Faye Lawrence, a son, C.B. Lawrence and his wife, Mary, two step-sons, Jeff and Gary Yeatts, three sisters, Barbara Ashby, Marie Hollandsworth, and Doris Sanders, and a brother, Jerry Lee Saunders. Also surviving are two grandchildren, Nathaniel Lawrence Sherrill and Jessica Lawrence Evans, and two great-grandchildren, Mikayla Nicole Lawrence and Kohen Evans.

The Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at Community Funeral Services Chapel. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service. Burial will follow at Roselawn Burial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the SPCA, 132 Joseph Martin Highway, Martinsville, VA 24112.
