Curtis Joel Martin Jr

Curtis Joel Martin, Jr., 56, of Martinsville, died Monday, June 16, 2014 at his residence. He was born in Martinsville on January 8, 1958, to the late Curtis Joel Martin, Sr., and Mary Donavant Martin. He was employed for more than twenty three years with Frith Construction Company, where he was in supervision. He attended Temple Baptist Church.

Surviving are his wife, Gloria Wood Martin of the home, two daughters, Tanya Renee Martin and Robin Lynn Martin both of Martinsville, one son, Randy Joel Martin of Martinsville, two sisters, Lisa Hodge and Gail Shuler both of Martinsville, one brother, Jerry Martin and four grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life service will be held 1:00 P.M. Friday, June 20, 2014 in the Community Funeral Service Chapel of Ridgeway, with Pastor Don Reynolds officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Burial Park.

The family will receive friends 7-8 P.M. Thursday, June 19, 2014 in the Community Funeral Service Chapel and other times at the home of the son, Randy at 466 Pine Meadows Lane, Martinsville.
