Danny Hartwell Wyatt

Danny Hartwell Wyatt, 65, of 825 Axton Road, Axton, died Thursday, August 18, 2011 at Martinsville Memorial Hospital. He was born in Henry Co., on April 19, 1946 to the late Rev. Uriel Wyatt and Pauline Wilson Wyatt. He worked as a truck driver for Sara-Lee knitting before becoming disabled. Danny played guitar and sung for over twenty years with The Liberty Quartet and attended Liberty Pentecostal Holiness church where his father pastured.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one sister, Sally Wyatt and two brothers, Ronnie and Jerry Wyatt.

Surviving are two daughters, Donna Wyatt Reed of Greensboro, NC and Debra Marie Wyatt of Martinsville and one son, Darrell Wyatt of Ridgeway, special companion, Margaret McDaniel of Axton, seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.

A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday August 21, 2011 in the chapel of Community Funeral Services of Ridgeway. Family will receive friends one half hour prior to services.
