Leonard Willie Hundley

Leonard Willie Hundley., 79, of 520 Perkinson Road, Reidsville, NC, died Monday February 23, 2015, at Annie Penn Hospital in Reidsville, NC. He was born in Ridgeway, VA., on October 23, 1935, to the late James Willie Hundley and Viola White Hundley. He was retired after more than twenty years as a General Contractor from Osborne Construction Company of Eden, NC. He attended Joyful Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Osteen Hundley, a brother, Buddy Lawrence Hundley and his canine companion “Snoopy” who passed away Wednesday, February 25, 2015.

Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Dennis Lee Hundley and wife Cathy of Ruffin, NC and Patrick “Pat” Wayne Hundley and wife Teresa of Nunica, Michigan, two sisters, Louise Simpson of Ruffin, NC and Brenda Waddell of Germanton, NC, two brothers, Mack Hundley of Ruffin, NC, and Paul Hundley of Eden, NC, five grandchildren, Anthony “A.J”, Stephanie, Cassandra “Cass” Hundley all of Nunica, Michigan, Ronnie and Ashley Hundley both of Ruffin, NC and five great-great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends two hours prior to the Celebration of Life Service which will be held 1:00 P.M. Friday, February 27, 2015 at Charity Baptist Church of Eden, NC with Brother Don Cox officiating. Interment will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Eden, NC. A reception will follow after interment in the Charity Baptist Church Fellowship Hall.
