Mary Cregger Mize

Mary Louise Cregger Mize 77, of Martinsville, died Sunday February 19, 2012 at Martinsville Memorial Hospital. She was born in Henry Co., on June 5, 1934 to the late Linzie L. Cregger and Effie Bell Gilley Cregger. Mary was retired from Tultex where she had worked in the cutting room. Mary was of the Pentecostal Holiness Faith.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Aubrey Taylor Mize; two sons, Wayne L. and Jerry T. Mize and one sister, Ruby Mae Mize.

Surviving are one daughter, Mary l. Cox of Martinsville; two sons, Billy Gene Mize of Martinsville and Jackie Lee Mize of Patrick County; one sister, Ada Bell Cregger of Martinsville and one brother, Leroy Leonard Cregger of Martinsville; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday February 22, 2012 in the chapel of Community Funeral Service of Ridgeway with Donald F. Ashby officiating. Interment will follow in Horsepasture Christian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service in the chapel of Community Funeral Service of Ridgeway.
