This picture we took together was in front of my home. It was a great day !! Now it is 2024 and it’s like time stood still that bench we sat on together is still there . I really miss you . I will see you again and maybe we can sit together on a different bench with the same smile

To my favorite Uncle Alan.
We will always remember you schooling Blair, Jim and myself on the Rigby High School basketball court when you were visiting us in Rigby. We had a key to the gym and took you over to see the court where you and Larry Wilson and Dick Broulim made the magic happen in High School in 1957. You taught us this great pivot move at the top of the key that we worked on during High School. It worked well for us in our high school careers. Jim said he challenged you to a rematch about 10 years later when he came to visit you in California in 1984 but you declined... mmm. We all loved Golfing with you. I remember you made fun of me because I got mad and cussed when we hit a bad shot in Golf. You were always laughing and teasing us when you came to visit. It was a highlight of our summer when you came. I'm sure there is Golf up there and wife Elaine, your older sister Elaine, your Mom Lola, Aunt Leah, Dad Basil and my Mom Dorothy Jo will show you around. Your sister Peggy is the only one left here and she is looking forward to getting together with you all.

I love you dad so much. It has been a journey and I know how much you miss mom(Elaine) since she passed . You are a inspiration and that will live in me forever. May you be at peace and enjoy your new life with all that has passed away. No more pain just happy times  from now on. I bet you are on the golf course and walking all eighteen holes with out a golf cart. I will see you again. I love you dad !,,,
