She volunteered at the Corona Public Library in the Adult Literacy department, from about 1994 until 2020, first as a one-on-one reading tutor for adults, then as an ESL teacher, and then as a phonics teacher for adults, which was what she loved doing the most. She was very passionate about teaching and loved her students.
Alice was a stay-at-home mom for a large part of her adult life but worked as a secretary for various companies and was a church secretary for about 15 years.
Alice donated to multiple charities. She had a heart for the homeless, for prisoners, and for animals, as well as for Christian missionaries.
