One month ago today we walked with you to your final resting place and in that same walk, sealed our infinite bond as siblings. You are imprinted in our hearts and now, our skin. Your laughter, joyful spirit, kindness and  presence will always be missed but your eternal love lives on. #infiniitelybranded ♾️

My little brother took me to my first Raiders game against Tennessee, up in Oakland. I felt like Bob Uecker—“I must be in the front row!”—even though we had the very last row against the wall. But it didn’t matter; it was an unforgettable memory. I loved everything about that day and wouldn’t change it for the world. Thank you until we meet again. I love you and miss you so much 💔

Uncle Andrew, it’s still so hard to believe we have to live this life without you, you were someone everyone in this family looked up to, you had the biggest smile and always took the time to see how everyone was doing. 

I’m so grateful I got to see you one last time before I left, I always enjoyed hearing you and my dad crack jokes or just talk in general about anything, it really didn’t matter what it was. We were only supposed to see you for one hour in the hospital but we stayed an extra 30min so you can tell us a funny story and of course it was worth it. #HTS

I can’t express how much our family is going to miss you, it truly won’t be the same but I know you would want us to continue our laughs, and our family traditions. I love you uncle. Rest in Peace.

One funny memory I have about this day (may 18,2019), that I would love to share was when we got dennys before we went paint balling in the morning and you were putting sugar in your coffee, A LOT of sugar and Michael and jay were roasting you and I was laughing too even though I would’ve been doing the same to my coffee.

As a kid i remembered my dad would always act out a scene of tombstone with aliyah and jay i always wanted to have a moment like that with you dad. There’s a show called Warrior and my dad favorite quote was from the first ever scenes in the show. I remember seeing his bright smile everytime we would say the quote to each other. He even found it online (it was like a meme) you even got eli acting out that scene with me i immediately thought about you and how proud you must’ve been when you heard about it.

We were very blessed to have Andrew as our friend.  We will cherish the memories we shared, and the friendship that was created between our families.  Many blessings to the Hawkins family and until we meet again  Andrew.  💐

Andrew, I can’t put it any other way than you will be fiercely missed. I will always remember your easy smile - you had one for everyone.  Other things I will remember of the one and only Andrew Hawkins:

The one time you took a box of hamburger patties to my parent’s house
Your generosity, kindness & humbleness
Donna giving you a haircut in my garage

Being an even better father and husband
Asking me what I fed my son cuz he was so tall every time you saw us, lol

Shenanigans that will remain on a need to know basis
Telling you that I was proud to call you a friend and brother

These are just a few things I will always remember and I will hold them close in my heart. Rest easy, keep an eye on us & if possible put in a good word for us.

Uncle Andrew was always the one to light up the room. He made everybody laugh, kept the conversations and joy flowing everywhere he went. He will be greatly and sorely missed but his memory flows on within all of us.

This was the first time I got to experience going to a basketball game and I’m happy that it was with my dad and sister. My dad was bragging about how much better his Samsung was compared to a iPhone by zooming in and seeing the players from the furthest section. He was in fact right!

I heard so much about Andrew. I was so nervous to meet him. Then I finally did. From that day, and every family gathering, birthday parties, holidays, year after year, Andrew always made me feel like part of the family. He would always find the time to talk to me. To ask me how I was doing or what I’ve been up to in life. He would genuinely sit there and listen and converse with me. It takes an amazing individual to be of service to others, as he was, with his words and actions. It breaks my heart that he’s no longer here. My condolences to his whole family. His kindness, towards me, left such an impact on me. Thank you Andrew! Rest in peace.

To my Sister, Nieces, and Nephews,

My heart has been and always will be with you. I share in your sorrow and will be there to help you find your joy again. We will not fall away. We shall continue to grow in our faith and understanding of God's ways so that in time we may experience the new joys and blessings that God still has planned for us as family members. Dear Andrew, 

The four of us were the core of what life became. You were there since the beginning, so you are in every story and every memory that my family and yours has. You and your Compadre were the thorn in my sister's and my side but I have to admit that the dumb stuff that you both would come up with made for some very good times. The Hawkins children and the Bobadilla children are the Masterpieces that came out of those years. Our little brother Chris grew up in the mix with us and soon he too joined the clown show. 

Now sadly it is apparent that God did not intend for things to last forever and His plans were not our plans. It is like my niece Aliyah once implied: I am not mad at God, how can we be? So even though God has called it the end I am still very grateful to Him for at least allowing our families to have had the times that we did. I will cherish those chapters forever.

I share my deepest condolences to the Hawkins Family. I pray for Gods healing over my family. May each of my family members stay strong through this time. Know that you are not alone and I will always be there for all of you. Death is never an easy time. But for certain, I know Uncle Andrew would want each and everyone one of us to keep our heads up, to smile, crack a joke and tackle life to the best of our ability. I love you Uncle Andrew, may you rest in peace. Your spirit will live on throughout each of us <3

I can’t believe this is really happening; I prayed this day would never come. When you texted me on August 10th  that your cancer had returned, I fell into complete silence. We've been friends for close to 30 years and I could always count on you for a friendly conversation regarding football, baseball, and life in between. After we both left Grainger, we always made sure to stay connected and tried not to let too much time pass before we did. I realize now that our conversations brought stability to our everyday lives, no matter what the conversation was. We didn’t have to explain if were having a difficult day, our conversation erased all that and put us back in another time. From our Grainger days, the adult baseball team and our weekend poker games, thanks for being a good friend. We definitely had the poker bug; we wanted to play so bad (every weekend) that we got Diana and Adam (my son) to play just to get a game going (lol). I remember when Kobe passed, and you told me how that brought you tears and the rest of LA. Well, I can see the impact you had on so many people that Kobe's got nothing on you. You’re the MAMBA FOREVER! 

Thanks for letting me be your brother and acknowledging me as one, you won’t be forgotten. I'll always remember your epic line "What's up Young Rich", you had so many. Rest in Peace Mamba.  Diana and the kids will carry on because of the toughness you instilled, and I know you wouldn’t have it any other way.

Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your family.  

From day one, you always welcomed me with open arms.  You always greeted me with a smile and a warm welcome.  I always felt like you were always genuinely happy to see me and to talk to me.  That is something that always meant a lot to me and is something I will never forget.

You called me your brother, even though there was no blood relation or marriage to make it so.  You accepted me unconditionally.  You did not worry about the “why’s” or “how’s”, you just loved me for who I am.  

You never had to tell me what kind of man you were…You showed me with your actions and your kind spirit.

I used to love it when we all sat around and you would tell us about all the conspiracies that were going on around us, and how we needed to open our eyes and pay attention.  You and Donna would argue about that stuff all the time…Those were such good times!  I used to just laugh, laugh, laugh!

I will miss seeing your smile and hearing your voice.  There will forever be a place in my heart that is filled with the memories that you helped to create in my life.  You were truly a blessing to your family and friends.  

You were taken from us too soon.  I thought we would have another 30 years to talk, but sadly it isn’t so.  My heart aches when I think about how much I will miss you.

I have been selfishly talking about how much you meant to me, but the real gift you gave to us shows through your wife and your children.  You were a strong, intelligent, caring, and loving husband and father.  I can confidently say that your life has been a positive example to all of them.  You chose to make a positive impact on all their lives and worked hard to ensure that they all knew how much you loved them.  There is nothing realer than that.

You were truly a great man, and I am proud to call you my brother!

To me, my Uncle Andrew was the strongest man to ever live. Not just in physical strength, but in character as well. He taught me so much in the time I had with him, and I will forever cherish and honor the memory and lessons he left behind. He was the kind of man that everyone could look up to and follow by example. One of the last conversations we shared, which will forever live on in how I carry myself as a Hawkins man, was to not only be strong and be a beacon for others, but to also show compassion and generosity. He was a man that knew what it meant to be a pillar of hope for everyone. And even though he is gone, I know that we will all continue to carry on his will for as long as we live. May you rest in peace Uncle, and until we meet again. Love you.

When Andrew started his chemo, his hair began to fall out. So I told him to shave my head too—figured we could look like twins. I joked that he looked like The Rock, Dwayne Johnson, and I could pull off Vin Diesel.

He stood next to me, looked down, and said, “You don’t have much left.” Laughed so hard I almost forgot what we were going through.

Even in the middle of his pain, Andrew still found a way to laugh. That was him—always finding the light, even in the darkest places.

Gonna miss you, little brother. Even if you were taller.

The first thing I see when I think of you is your infectious smile, there was never a time I saw you that you weren’t smiling or making someone else smile! The boys will always remember you picking on them for sports and asking how many little girlfriends they have now and how they got to be “security guards” and wear ear pieces at Uncle Andrew’s wedding! They thought they were so cool!! You always welcomed me and supported Luis and me! I love you and I will miss you!

Uncle Andrew, without a doubt, was most definitely the wisest amongst all of my mom's siblings. His wisdom always shifted your perspective on life. With thoughtful and kind words he often spoke, it isn't just the words that will now leave an impact, but also the unwavering love he expressed. No matter how busy or how far, he always willingly made the two-hour drive to always be present at our birthday parties and celebrations... an impactful and unconditional love that is rare to find but will never be forgotten. As a family, we will continue to carry him in the memories we all share and the love in which we show. We will forever love and miss you.

This shirt has helped me process and control my thoughts and emotions so much more than I used to be able to. I wish you could see just how much you’ve helped me grow in my faith just because of our short talks together and your kind words of encouragement. Even when in pain, you pulled me aside and the last thing you told me was to “dive into the Word” and to stay consistent in my beliefs. I will take those words to heart and stay true to what I know to be right. I love and miss you more than you could possibly know.

Our Uncle Andrew was a shining example of excellence for all of us kids growing up. He showed us what it is like to stay healthy and train your body well, how to raise and love your kids and significant other unconditionally, and most importantly, how to live a life through worship and prayer. Through every up and down, every trial and tribulation, no matter how hard, I would always see him carry himself with an enormous smile and a beautiful soul. His attitude and presence could shift the mood of a room just by him stepping in. I vividly remember July 3, 2023 when he came to all of us kids and told us to love one another and cherish the time we have together. Those words constantly sit in my head as a reminder to carry myself and to bring others joy and comfort as he did. Although I never said it out loud to him, he was a role model of a righteous God-fearing man for me. It brings me comfort knowing that he is up in Heaven with the Lord because I know Jesus has been saving a very special place for Uncle Andrew for a long time.

Uncle Andrew, I’ll always miss your laughs and your words of encouragement. I’ll always remember you showing me your muscles and telling you that I wanted to be like you some day. Throughout the years you saw me getting bigger and bigger and you would joke around by telling me that I was almost close to you in size. I’ll miss how deep our conversations were and how you were always telling me to be a better man than I was yesterday. Your words truly have stuck with me since the last time we spoke. You’re gone but you will never be forgotten. You left behind a legacy, our hearts will always be filled with beautiful memories of you. I’ll miss your energy and how quickly you could make anyone in the family laugh, even when my mom would be mad at me you’d be quick to get a smile on her face and make her laugh.

Uncle Andrew had a big smile and an even bigger heart. He was funny, brave, humble and strong. His laugh was just as infectious as his “dammmmit”. Thank you, Uncle Andrew for modeling a loving marriage to aspire to.  I’ll always be grateful for all of the cherished memories and joyful laughs we shared. I miss you so much.

There's an ache in the quiet moments, a stillness where your voice used to be. I miss our daily talks-the way you'd call me on your way home, half-falling asleep, trusting me to keep you awake.  And I did, because I needed those moments just as much as you did.

I'll miss the debates you had with Michael -Kobe vs. Lebron-arguments that never really ended, just paused until the next time. You were the life of every room you walked into. You made people feel seen, welcomed, and loved. 

I keep seeing your smile- so full of energy it lit up everything around you. Thats the part of you I carry with me now. That, and your laugh, your kindness, your fierce loyalty.

This was about a month and a half after your first surgery and you refused to ride a scooter around and insisted you were okay!  This weekend you reminded us all how important our family is.

I’ll cherish the memory of your gleaming smile as you walked through the door into your surprise birthday party. My heart tells me you smile still. I love you forever!

Beautiful memories is all I’m left with. I think the smile on my face speaks for itself. I’m glad I have these pictures, in one of our last conversations you were reminiscing about me being a little girl and how YOU along with Donna and Hector would fight over me because I was the baby! I will miss you dearly, it will take time to adapt to the new reality but you will never be forgotten. You made an everlasting impact on many people. Thank you for loving me the way you did. Thank you for telling me “I Love you too sis” when I said goodbye.

Young parents but it never stopped us from being the best parents we could be.

We were always inseparable.  I love you baby to the moon and back. 
 We were supposed to walk our daughters and sons down the aisle and see our grand kids grow.  I wished you were here.

We little knew the day that God was going to call your name.  In life we loved you dearly.  In death we do the same.  It broke our hearts to lose you, but you didn't go alone.  For part of us went with you.  The day God called you home, you left us peaceful memories.  Your love is still our guide, and though we cannot see you.  You are always at our side.  Our family chain is broken and nothing seems the same, but as God calls us one by one the chain will link again.

Throughout my 23 yrs u been there for me, u were the father that no one can have, u been there at baseball games and soccer games, u have always told me not to give up on anything just keep pushing to be better even if it’s hard and u have always tell me that find someone that makes u happy like u and mom, it’s more then ur in a better place, we’ve always want u to be here like the old times but i love and miss you a lot🫶🏼 sincerely faith

Baby I can play this over and over. It has been 3 years since we renewed our vows. The vows you read to me reminded me why I feel in love with you. You always assured me that you always loved me even after 20 years of marriage.  You were such an amazing husband even with our differences we always found a way to come back to each other.  You are my guardian angel the one I will need to get through this hard time. Fly high baby.

Who would of that 28 years ago I was gonna meet one of my closest friends who ended up being my big brother. Me and tornillos hit it off right away we were inseparable but that came at a cost we were bad 😆 I mean when we worked together selling products business to business and they teamed us up together it was a no no. We always got in trouble with our significant other. But we didn't care, we would walk into a restaurant mid day walk out at night or come out of a bar in Hollywood laughing I'd hit him in the back of the head and try to run but really that fool would catch up to me like nothing grab me by the back of my pants and toss me like a rag doll, come out of a bush scratched up he'd laugh so hard he'd fall to the ground. We were to much. But because of that we created a bond like no other. And even though we lived far away from each other we knew we were just a call away from good advice. That man saved my life and I will forever love him.

When I look at this picture, its speaks volume on what you meant to our family. Amira found peace and comfort snuggled into your chest which is how we saw you. A safe space, our rock and most importantly our home. You were the definition of family and unity. Until we meet again Dad❤️‍🩹

You said you always wanted to see the Dodgers vs Yankees since you were a kid. So Jeremiah and I made that happen and took you to your first World Series game💙
