Anthony was a resident of Riverside nearly all of his life. After graduating from Riverside
Poly High School, Anthony was drafted into the Army and proudly served in the Korean
War. He made countless friends over the years. All who knew him felt the warmth from
his big heart. He will be deeply missed by all.
He was a man of many trades and he worked very hard at all of them. He was a short
haul and long haul truck driver. He then owned and operated Goodtime Tours. He also
worked construction as a superintendent for many years. His last job was at
Unilab/Quest where he took great pride, after fifteen years he retired for the third and
last time, at the age of 81 - he just couldn't stop working. Many hours were spent
tinkering in the garage on his various "projects". Anthony also enjoyed boating and
camping, which he did often with family, taking his last trip over Thanksgiving
holiday. A true family man, he took advantage of every opportunity to be with his family.
A service will be held on Thursday, April 16 at 10:00 am at Pierce Brothers Crestlawn
Mortuary, located at 11500 Arlington Ave, Riverside, CA, with a graveside service
immediately following at Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Boulevard. A
Celebration to honor Anthony will follow at the Riverside Ranchero's Club, 1198
Washington Street in Riverside.
