Happy new year Dad. It’s a different life without you

I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your father. He had a huge heart and an amazing sense of humor. He was always there for his friends and he loved his family and bragged on you constantly. He will be dearly missed. Prayers to you and your family.  God bless. 🙏

As a matter of fact as I think more back on us I was so close the kids used to even call me uncle one would even call me uncle percellus and you know who you are. But again I loved Tony and I love the family as well because we were like family and hopefully still are

I meant Tony which seems like hundreds of years ago I was in college or co-op and I met Tony working at The Bonaventure we became the best of friends almost inseparable as a matter of fact through me Tony met his first wife Gina. Tony and I became like brothers I love him like a brother because he is my brother I'll miss him truly and I'll never forget it Marcellus 8

Tony, you were a good and loving son-in-law and I  will miss you.  I am comforted  by the fact that you loved the Lord and will be with Him.
You were always such a hard and industrious worker...so many  ideas in your head.
Thank you for all your kindness and concern for me and the rest of the family

I don't even know where to begin. When I first met Tony, he was dating my sister Gina. I liked him from the beginning because he was just such a cool guy and made my sister happy! I was his little sister from day one 🩷
He was always so good to me but one of my favorite parts about him was how we joked about each other! He was always telling me I had a big head and was relentless until I couldn't stop laughing! The joking always ended with a hug and a sloppy kiss on top of my head! 
He always bragged that he was a better cook than me and one day, we had a peach pie bake-off. Of course, I thought I won but I think I ended up eating most of his pie! He was a better cook!
Tony was so intelligent and when he started talking, I had to stop and listen because I knew I was going to come away from that conversation a little more educated! When I left home, without hesitation, he and Gina took me, my mom and brother in. I stayed with them until Erica was born and then it was time to be on my own. He was always there if I needed to talk. Tony, my brother 🩷
When my dad died, he stepped in as a father figure, making sure I and my girls were safe (I was going through a divorce and my job had ended with Edison), and he helped me with a part time job in his office until I could find another job. He always checked on how my girls were doing, which I really appreciated. Tony, my father-figure 🩷
I lost track of keeping in touch with him over the years because, you know... life. 
I was able to talk to him a couple of years ago and so glad he knew that I was happy. 
He will always be in my heart and soul and made a huge impact on my life. I love you my brother-father! May you rest in God's loving peace! Give my dad a loving hello from me! 🩷🩷🩷

Some rare people come into our lives and leave an imprint so deep that it shapes the very core of who we become. For me, that person was Tony.

I met Tony when I was struggling to see my own potential. My dreams felt distant, and self-doubt clouded my vision for the future. Tony saw something in me that I couldn’t see in myself. Where I saw limitations, Tony saw possibilities. Where I hesitated, he offered a gentle, reassuring smile as if he already knew I could go farther than I ever imagined.

Tony never told me what to do. Instead, he guided me patiently and kindly, offering gentle nudges and quiet encouragement. He challenged me, but always with care. His words were never forceful, but they always seemed to come immediately: “Go as far as you can. You’ll be able to see a little farther when you get there. And then, keep going.” Those words became a guiding light for me, especially when I felt lost.

Tony’s wisdom was woven into the stories he shared—sometimes from his own remarkable life, sometimes from history or philosophy. I remember him quoting Marcus Aurelius:  
 “The impediment to action advances action. What stands in the way becomes the way.”  
He helped me see that every obstacle was a lesson, every setback an opportunity to grow.

He inspired me to dream bigger, to overcome and adapt, and to believe in the possibility of tomorrow. Thank you, Tony, for everything. You changed my life, and I will never forget you. Rest peacefully, knowing you made a difference.

Child's Cousins: Margaret, Frozine, Novetta, and Tony. We spent many summers together as children. Three of us are the same age.  This Chiles Childs Family Reunion Cruise was the last time we spent time together and it was sooo awesome.  We'll see you later Tony. We Love you Always.
