As I was growing up, I always saw Brandie as not only my cousin but almost like an older sibling. It was common for her and her mother to visit my family whenever they were in town. Watching scary movies, cooking sinigang, and playing games were the things I remembered most, and Brandie loved scary movies, even the corny ones. But one memory I will cherish for the rest of my life is when she decided to bring me, her little like 12 year old cousin, to a Carly Rae Jepsen concert in Hollywood. It was pretty questionable as I only knew her one hit song, “Call Me Maybe”  but I’m so glad she brought me still. We were front row against the rails, it felt like VIP lol, and I even had a picture of the artist reaching out to me in the audience touching my hand. It was one of my first real concerts that I attended and something that I will remember forever. Brandie I miss you and I love you so much, I wish we could’ve went to more shows now, but thank you for being such a kind soul and an amazing cousin. I love you and will see you again. <3 -Ethan

The Shaheed is so sorry for your loss. Death on a young person,  with much potential for life, leaves a hard pill to swallow for a family.  I can't only imagine the depth of sorrow that faces Brandie's imediate family.  Times does not cure all pain, but allows a time when we able to think of our lost ones with a smile of remembrance.

Brandie was such an incredible friend. She touched the lives of so many. She has an amazing skill of seeing the best in everybody and was able to befriend anybody she interacted with. I will miss her so much.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Sending my condolences and deepest sympathy to you and your family .  May GOD continue to give you strength and comfort you during this difficult time.
