CARMEN DORTHEA DAVIS MAY 7, 1928 - APRIL 30, 2012 Carmen was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who left us peacefully at her home in Riverside on Monday, April 30, 2012. Carmen was born on May 7, 1928 in Berkeley, California. Carmen is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, James Davis; her daughter Caroline Hurd and son-in-law Michael Hurd; three grandchildren James Hurd, Alex Hurd and Antonia Hurd all from Stafford, Virginia. Carmen taught Elementary School for 8 years, was an avid PhiMu sister and loved her many other interests including Assistance League, Panhellenic, Red Hat and a Gourmet Dinner Group. There will be a Celebration of Life at All Saints Episcopal Church at 2:00pm Sunday, May 6, 2012 with Reception to follow. Though she is no longer with us in flesh she will remain with us in spirit always
