Sergeant First Class Charles Bruce Lacy Jr., age 38, passed away on September 29, 2012 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He was born in Riverside, California on April 3, 1974. He graduated from Arlington High School in Riverside California in June 1992 Charles enlisted in the US Army December 3rd 1992 as a helicopter mechanic for 2 years before joining the Special Forces group as a linguist for military intelligence for 12 years and was deployed to Haiti and South Africa. He received his AA degree from Chaminade University in 1998. He spoke Russian, French, and Tagalog. Charles is survived by his mother Arlene J. Lacy and sister Mary Ann Lacy of Riverside, fiancée Lisa R. BoBo of Wisconsin aunts Evelyn Martin and Shirley Walker, uncles Leeds Lacy Sr. of Orland Ca., Glen Lacy of Palm Desert, Ca., aunts Brenda Lacy Riddell of New Orleans La. And Michelle Lacy Stanley of Modesto Ca., and many cousins also other extended family and friends he will be deeply missed. A graveside service will be held on Saturday October 6, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. at Pierce Bros. Crestlawn Memorial Park in Riverside, Ca.
