To Danny,
     Give a big hug from all of us to Leora.  Tell Dennis we miss him so very much.  I should say “rest in peace”  but I really want to say  “ have a good time up there”.

As a kid, I remember the times Uncle Danny would come over and visit us up in Atascadero, or we would see Danny at my Grandparents house. Danny's booming voice would catch my attention right away. He would tease me and my brothers a bit like he was one of us, always made me laugh. I often think what a handful my Grandma and Grandpa must have had raising my dad, Danny and Tommy. The stories my dad would tell about the things him and his brothers did.... I'll miss Uncle Danny, a few phone calls earlier this year to him he picked up and talked to me, he knew who I was, and that meant a lot.

Uncle Danny, though we parted ways many years ago, thank you.  Thank you for that day back when I was just a kid and you and Grandpa took me out on a blasting job.  You took good care of me that day and showed me what it means to work hard and do the job right.
