David Franklin Bucy

David Franklin Bucy was born and stayed a proud "Hoosier". He came into this world in November 18, 1933. He left this world a better place and went on to his next assignment in Heaven on January 22, 2025.

David was married to Frances Marie Kopp on June 12th. She beat him to Heaven by going on November 3, 2024. He had two children- Mark Allan Bucy and Susan Elaine Bucy-Gist. He had 7 grandchildren that he so loved -Greg, Julianne, Kirsten, Kira, Kyleah, Kacia and Kiarra. He had 7 great grandchildren that he was so proud of- Elliana, Ethan, Eden, Julian, Olivia, Autumn and Lincoln. All miss his crazy, fun and generous spirit. Spoiling was part of his nature. He was loved by many other family members- Virginia, brother-in-law Bill and so many nieces and nephews and friends. Heaven must be a party now with all the loved ones he has surrounding him. He probably is still telling them he is the best looking. David contributed so much to the insurance world he worked in for so many years. Most of all David contributed to the world in the ways that really mattered-loving Jesus and caring and so generously helping others. Superman you will always be cherished and missed.

A visitation for David will be held Thursday, February 20, 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at Acheson & Graham Garden of Prayer Mortuary, 7944 Magnolia Ave, Riverside, CA 92504. A funeral service will occur Thursday, February 20, 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM, 7944 Magnolia Ave, Riverside, CA 92504. A committal service will occur Thursday, February 20, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Boulevard, Riverside, CA 92518.
