This was taken at the Santa Fe National Cemetery where my husband, Mike, is buried. She made a few trips to visit me in New Mexico, once we reconnected. I met Debbie in 1980 when she answered my ad to babysit her daughter, Darla. We hit it off immediately!  She ended up staying about two hours and we just talked and talked. I am so glad that I have memories of the things we did together. I think of her often and miss her personality and laugh. I can’t believe she is gone.

Debbie and I were friends for 45 years. I put an ad in the Penny Saver offering child care. Debbie answered my ad to babysit Darla. We sat and talked and immediately “clicked” as friends. She stayed about 2 hours and we talked and talked. Anyway, I got the job 😊. My son, Blake was the same age as Darla only months apart. They would play with each other in the playpen. That’s how our beautiful and loving friendship began. We had some wonderful and crazy times together and I cherish those memories. She came to New Mexico to visit me and on her first visit here, we picked up right where we left off years before. I’m still in shock and have a broken heart 💔 about her passing. She was a true and loving 🥰 friend.  I will forever miss our long phone calls and her voice and laughter. Goodbye my dear and beautiful friend. My love for you  always. Until we meet again.

Our fundraising Teas as we both loved giving back To others and our casinos times together. We would have lunch and friend sharing time. We text most everyday, God, jokes, Crafts and even politics.  You will be so very missed my friend ❤️✝️

Working with Debbie was awesome.  She used to make me laugh and tell me to ignore the negativity. I remember when my hubby invited her to my baby shower when I was pregnant with my first. I was really happy to see her and share a special moment with her. Thank you for the beautiful memories and the love that you share with all of us.

My Aunt Debbie will be missed dearly. She was so fun and a great listener. I enjoyed every minute that I got to spend with her. I’ve known her all my life. She is such a special person and thinking of her will always make me smile. She was taken from our family way too soon. I will always cherish the time I got to spend with her.

I worked with Debbie years ago, county of Riverside. One of my fondest memories of our time together was the shenanigans we would pull at work during fire drills. When it was time for us to report back to work we would hide behind cars and try to go home. It never worked but we would laugh at ourselves for hiding behind cars. Her youthful spirit and loving personality will be dearly missed. She loved and cherished her family and spoke lovingly about them often.

Our trips to Big Bear/Lake Arrowhead will forever live on❤️ I will go up there remembering all our trips and our favorite pizza spot. I love you my beautiful angel, you’ve been such a caring and giving person your entire life, you’ve been the best grandma anyone could ask for. FOREVER & EVER a grandma’s girl🕊️❤️
