Dennis was a true Captain in the classical sense. He was more than eager to share his adventures. All you had to do was ask him, "What's new? What project are you working on? where have you been?" Invaribly, someone whould tease, don't get him started, but I always looked forward to his humor and opinions. Lisa, Lydia and myself always looked forward to sharing adventures with him and we've been lucky to have had several. I can't even imagine what kind of sights he's seeing now. I am sad.  Uncle Dennis was so funny and fun to be with. I loved his boat. He was loving and cheerful, he was meant to be on water and will never be forgotten.

Dennis was my big brother.  I always cherished my vacations while visiting the family in Riverside.  He was talented, generous, funny and always gave the biggest bear hugs with an "I love you."
