German Gutierrez

Germán Gutiérrez Zárate peleo una larga batalla contra graves problemas de salud y, a pesar de múltiples hospitalizaciones, se mantuvo positivo y luchó hasta el final. Nacido el 31 de Julio de 1967 en Teotitlán del Valle, Tlacolula, Oaxaca, México, Germán Gutiérrez falleció el 9 de Mayo de 2025 en el hospital Loma Linda. Su amor por su familia y por Dios fue inquebrantable. Germán emigró a Estados Unidos a los 15 años y llegó a Santa Ana, California, en 1984 para trabajar y ayudar económicamente a sus padres. Poco después de su llegada, comenzó a trabajar en la construcción, donde adquirió todas las habilidades que lo convirtieron en un contratista muy talentoso. En 1991, Germán conoció a su esposa, María Rosalba Bañuelos, de quien se enamoró en Pomona, California, y tuvieron seis hijos. Fue un ejemplo a seguir para sus hijos y les enseñó todas las habilidades que aprendió durante sus años de trabajo. Germán disfrutaba tanto de la construcción que continuó trabajando en ella el resto de su vida. Su perspectiva de la vida siempre se mantuvo positiva, incluso en los momentos difíciles. Era la estrella más brillante de la familia y siempre nos animó a ver la vida de la misma manera. Fue un proveedor de muchos aspectos para su familia y nos formó para ser una persona tan excepcional como él.

Germán vivirá a través de sus cuatro hijos y dos hijas: Armando Gutiérrez , Germain Anthony Gutiérrez, Ángel David Gutiérrez, Omar Gutiérrez , Kathryn Gutiérrez, y Angie Julissa Gutiérrez, a quienes amaba profundamente.

Le encantaba ver fútbol, disfrutaba escuchando cumbias, bailando, cantando, viendo programas y novelas con su familia, leyendo la Biblia y teniendo una conexión cercana con Dios. Amaba cuidar su jardín y disfrutaba despertarse con el canto de los pájaros. Amaba los días soleados y despejados y pasar tiempo con su familia. Quienes conocían a German lo recordarán por su sentido del humor, su habilidad para hacer reír a todos con quienes se cruzaba en su camino. Era humilde y tenía un don excepcional para alegrar a los demás y transformar un mal día en uno bueno, dejando un buen recuerdo en el corazón de todos.

Se llevará a cabo un velorio para German el Martes 27 de Mayo de 2025 de 6:00 p. m. a 9:00 p. m. en Pierce Brothers Crestlawn Mortuary, 11500 Arlington Ave, Riverside, CA 92505. Se llevará a cabo un servicio junto a la tumba el Miércoles 28 de Mayo de 2025 de 11:30 a. m. a 12:00 p. m. en Pierce Brothers Crestlawn Memorial Park and Mortuary, 11500 Arlington Ave, Riverside, CA 92505.

German Gutierrez, age 57, of Riverside, California passed away on Friday, May 9, 2025. German was born in Oaxaca, Mexico.

German Gutierrez Zarate fought a long battle with serious medical issues and despite multiple hospitalizations he remained positive and fought until the very end. Born on July 31st, 1967 in Teotitlan del Valle, Tlacolula Oaxaca, Mexico, German Gutierrez passed away on May 9th 2025 at Loma Linda Hospital. His love for his family and God was unwavering. German immigrated to the United States at the age of 15 and arrived in Santa Ana, California in 1984 to work and help support his parents financially. Shortly after his arrival he began working in construction where he learned all the skills that shaped him into a very talented contractor. In 1991, German met his wife Maria Rosalba Banuelos whom he fell in love with in Pomona California and had six children. He was a role model to his children, and taught his sons all the skills he learned through his years of work. German enjoyed construction so much that he continued working in construction for the remainder of his life. His outlook on life always remained positive even through hard days, he was the brightest star in the family and always encouraged us to look at life the same way. He was a provider in many ways to his family and shaped us into being as great a person as he was.

German will live on through his 4 sons and 2 daughters, Armando Gutierrez, Germain Anthony Gutierrez, Angel David Gutierrez, Omar Gutierrez, Kathryn Gutierrez, Angie Julissa Gutierrez whom he loved very dearly.

He loved watching soccer, found joy listening to cumbias, dancing, singing, watching shows and novelas with his family, reading the bible, and having a close connection with God. He loved taking care of his garden and enjoyed waking up to the sounds of birds singing. German loved sunny clear days and spending time with his family. Those who knew German will remember him for his humor, being a multiskilled tradesman, and his ability to bring a smile and laugh to everyone he encountered. He was humble and had a rare gift of making others happy and completely shifting someone's bad day into a good one leaving a good memory in everyone's heart.

A visitation for German will be held Tuesday, May 27, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Pierce Brothers Crestlawn Mortuary, 11500 Arlington Ave, Riverside, CA 92505. A graveside service will occur Wednesday, May 28, 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at Pierce Brothers Crestlawn Memorial Park and Mortuary, 11500 Arlington Ave, Riverside, CA 92505.
