

Grace Lee Favre passed away on November 22, 2023 at the age of 98 in Riverside, California. She was born May 2,1925 in Los Angeles, California to James and Corrine Boykin. She was preceded in death by: her parents, her spouse Walter Favre, her son Kenneth Cyphers and granddaughter Pamela Carter.
Grace graduated from Jefferson High School in Los Angeles, California, where she discovered her passion for tennis. This passion remained with her throughout her life, and she became an avid fan of the sport. After her education, Grace embarked on a successful career with the Federal Government and with the County of Los Angeles. Her dedication and hard work were evident in her professional endeavors, where she made a lasting impact on those who worked with her.
Grace, lovingly known as, "Geega", was remarkable woman with a vibrant personality, a loving nature and quiet wit that endeared her to all who knew her. She found immense joy in family events where she shared her love for playing games, particularly Bingo and card games. She was an involved parent and served as the president of her children's P.T.A for many years , showcasing her dedication to her family and community.
Grace Lee Favre is survived by; her sons Walter Favre Jr, and Terence Favre, her daughter Karen Lyons and son-in-law Michael Lyons, eight grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren. Her legacy of love, laughter and unwavering dedication to family members and friends, will forever be cherished by those whose lives she touched.

A funeral service will occur Monday, December 11, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Catherine of Alexandria Church, 3680 Arlington Ave, Riverside, CA 92506. A committal service will occur Monday, December 11, 2023 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at Olivewood Memorial Park, 3300 Central Ave, Riverside, CA 92506. A repass will occur Monday, December 11, 2023, 8952 Bellevue Pl, Riverside, CA 92508.
