

John Stan Crunkleton, age 56, of Riverside, California, passed away on September 20, 2025. He was born on August 30, 1969, in Savannah, Georgia, and was raised in Kings Park, New York. At the age of 13, he moved with his family to California. John attended Alvord High School and later served in the US Army National Guard, where he was called to active duty in support of Operation Desert Storm.
John was known for his adventurous spirit and love for the outdoors. He enjoyed movies, food, and break dancing, and was a talented artist recognized for his freehand tagging throughout Riverside. Above all, John was a devoted brother, caring for his twin, Terry Crunkleton, and took great pride in his daughter and grandchildren.
He is survived by his daughter, Deziree Crunkleton; grandchildren, Abigail and Oliver Lira; brother, Terry Crunkleton and half sisters Barbara and Gail.
John will be remembered for his creativity, kindness, and unwavering love for his family.

A funeral service will occur Saturday, September 27, 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM, 11500 Arlington Ave, Riverside, CA 92505. A committal service will occur Saturday, September 27, 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Pierce Brothers Crestlawn Memorial Park and Mortuary, 11500 Arlington Ave, Riverside, CA 92505. A reception will occur Saturday, September 27, 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM, 11500 Arlington Ave, Riverside, CA 92505.
