Jorge Lamadrid Rodriguez

At the still young age of 76, an angel has been added to heaven. On October 10, 2025 at 10:16pm, Jorge LaMadrid Rodriguez has taken his last breath to finally rest in the peace of our Lord and Savior. A father of 3, and grandfather of 3, Jorge was a kind and loving man with a lifetime of memories to leave each and every one of us filled with a bit of his joy.

Jorge, 1 of 9 children, the son of Vicente Zendejas Rodriguez and Juana LaMadrid Rodriguez born February 22, 1949 in Puruandiro, Michoacán, lived a life like many with amazing highs and unfortunate lows but ultimately very full and abundant. As a young man, Jorge began his working career as a chauffeur in Mexico, then later when coming to the United States, began proudly working at Crown Coach, welding school buses. He then began working in a catering service/lunch truck. On his down time, he enjoyed watching the dodgers dominate in baseball and sharing and teaching his love for the team to his nephews; even taking some to their first game. He also enjoyed spending time watching over his beloved animals. Everything from birds, ducks and chickens to dogs and even at one point, a cow. Can’t forget his favorite, Roxie the boxer. He also loved to work on cars, or at least spent a lot of time working on his lunch truck.

Jorge, a beloved father and grandfather, lived a warm and fulfilled life. He demonstrated kindness to everyone he encountered and shared advice with anyone willing to listen. His playful heart and want to share it, came especially when he was blessed with 3 grandchildren and his devotion was too much to hold. His light and love rose with their presence and brought such enrichment to his soul that seemed to revive a beautiful part of his life. Jorge was a devoted catholic who held ever so closely to his love for God and the Virgin Mary and in his last moments was continually being prayed over.

As hurtful as moments in this grand loss here on earth can be, we look forward to the ‘new’ God is bringing Jorge into. How beautiful it was to know his love but now it is time for this beloved man to be lead into his John 14:1—4 “Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In my Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. And where I go you know, and the way you know.”

Jorge is being survived by is beloved son, Jorge Rodriguez Jr., his Reina, Jennifer Rodriguez Uribe, his chosen daughter, Gloria Lainez Saldana, his loving Daughter in-law Norma Rodriguez that he loved like his own and dearest peloncito Son in-law Juan Carlos Uribe. Of course left are his greatest joy(s) - Giovanni and Damian Rodriguez and James Alexander Uribe, the motor to his life. He will be remembered by many but forever ingrained in the mothers of his children, late Esther Rodriguez and still living, Delmy Gloria Segovia. In the story of Jorge’s life, he is the hero to the many who will remember him.

A la todavía joven edad de 76 años, se ha añadido un ángel al cielo. El 10 de octubre de 2025 a las 10:16 pm, Jorge LaMadrid Rodríguez ha dado su último aliento para finalmente descansar en la paz de nuestro Señor y Salvador. Padre de 2 hijos, padrastro de 1 y abuelo de 3, Jorge era un hombre amable y cariñoso con toda una vida de recuerdos para dejarnos a todos y cada uno de nosotros llenos de su alegría. Jorge, 1 de 9 hijos de Vicente Zendejas Rodríguez y Juana LaMadrid Rodríguez nacido el 22 de febrero de 1949 en Puruandiro, Michoacán, tuvo una vida como muchos, llena de altibajos increíbles y bajos desafortunados, pero en última instancia muy llena y abundante. Cuando era joven, Jorge comenzó su carrera laboral como chófer de autobuses en México, luego, al llegar a los Estados Unidos, comenzó a trabajar con orgullo en Crown Coach, soldando autobuses escolares. Luego comenzó a trabajar en servicio de catering/loncheras. En su tiempo de descanso, disfrutó viendo a los

Dodgers dominar en el béisbol y compartiendo y enseñando su amor por el equipo a sus sobrinos; incluso llevando a algunos a su primer partido. También disfrutaba pasar tiempo cuidando a sus queridos animales. Todo, desde pájaros, patos y pollos hasta perros e incluso en un momento dado, una vaca. No puedo olvidar a su favorita, Roxie la boxer. También le encantaba trabajar en coches, o al menos pasaba mucho tiempo trabajando en su lonchera.

Jorge, un querido padre y abuelo, vivió una vida cálida y cumplida. Demostró amabilidad con todos los que conoció y compartió consejos con cualquiera que estuviera dispuesto a escuchar. Su corazón juguetón y su deseo de compartirlo, llegó especialmente cuando fue bendecido con 3 nietos y su devoción era demasiado para sostener. Su luz y amor se elevaron con su presencia y trajeron tal enriquecimiento a su alma que parecía revivir una hermosa parte de su vida. Jorge era un católico devoto que se aferró muy de cerca a su amor por Dios y la Virgen de Guadalupe y en sus últimos momentos sus seres queridos oraban por su serenidad en la transición de la vida eterna.

Por muy dolorosos que puedan ser los momentos en esta gran pérdida aquí en la tierra, esperamos con ansias el "nuevo" que Dios está trayendo a Jorge. Qué hermoso fue conocer a su amor, pero ahora es el momento de que este amado hombre sea llevado a su Juan 14:1—4

"Que tu corazón no se turbe; tú crees en Dios, cree también en Mí. En la casa de mi Padre hay muchas mansiones; si no fuera así, te lo habría dicho. Y si voy y preparo un lugar para ti, vendré de nuevo y te recibiré a ti yo mismo; para que donde yo estoy, allí tú también estés. Y a dónde voy, lo sabes, y la forma en que lo sabes". A Jorge le sobreviven su Amado hijo Jorge Rodríguez Jr., su Reina hija, Jennifer Rodríguez Uribe, su hija Elegida, Gloria Lainez Saldana, su nuera Norma Rodríguez que quiso como su hija y su querido yerno, el peloncito, Juan Carlos Uribe. Y por supuesto sus mayores alegría: Giovanni y Damian Rodríguez y James Alexander Uribe, los motorcitos de su vida. Será recordado por muchos, pero siempre arraigado en las madres de sus hijos, la difunta Esther Rodríguez y en vida Delmy Gloria Segovia. En la historia de la vida de Jorge, él es el héroe para muchos que lo recordarán.
