To Josie's family... 
  Thank you for sharing such a special person with those of us at the Riverside County Office of Education (RCOE).  
  I'll always remember her friendship, humor and the funny way she had of rolling her eyes when something silly, unusual, or just...well...happened, and that was usually followed by "Ooohhh, mmmyyy God, what next!"

I was really sadden by your passing, Only saw you come and go in and out of the brick building on 13th St a few times, and I just can't imagine your students being without the best of teachers in Special Education.

Josie, my friend I will miss you.

  I will miss your witty sense of humor that made us all laugh.

  I will miss your supreme intelligence that solved any of R.C.O.E.challenges that they gave us.You always had the answer.

  Josie my friend I am thankful for all the help you gave me on the computer. You always had the answer.
Staying late and after hours to help me with the not so easy IEP.

 Josie, I am thankful to have known such a devoted, caring, teacher.

Thank you, JOSIE for the friendship and kindness and laughter you gave us all.
  My favorite memory of Joise is dancing in her beautiful black dress holding her Mardi Gras mask up to her face. We miss you.

Ms. Josie will always be remembered by me as the "Most Beautiful Lady" that I had ever met. Loved her talent, her love for her kids and all she did for them to suceed.

I worked with Josie as one of her assistants many years ago at La Granada So. and I enjoyed working with her very much; Josie was always very kind to me. She was a great teacher who loved her students and wanted the best for them! I will really miss her special sense of humor !  My love to Josie's family and friends, sincerely, Lisa Wisniewski.

I remember Josie as being a lot of fun.  Josie was my hero.  She helped me with my IEP's and more.  Barb retired teacher ARLC.

I'm sure that memories of Josie will comfort her family, students, colleagues and friends.

Josie will be greatly missed by both the students she taught and the many teachers she helped and supported during her many years with Riverside County Office of Ed.
