June Frances Pounders

June spent 84 years as a resident of Riverside, and attended Magnolia Elementary, Central Middle, and Riverside Poly High School. She graduated from Poly High School in 1953. Retired from Bank of America in 1990 after 25 years of service.

June was very active in all of her class reunions serving on the committee as Treasurer for many years.

June is survived by 2 sons, Brian Pounders and Brad Pounders, both from Riverside. Her Daughter in Laws Beth and Mary Pounders. One Grandson, Brooks Pounders, and Three Grand Daughters Tracy, Rachel, and Lindsey Pounders. One great grandson Dante, and one great grand daughter Reena. Also survived by her sister, Donna Patterson of Santa Barbara, CA.

June enjoyed reading, singing, dancing, and always watched her beloved Los Angeles Dodgers games each and every night.

She maintained a life-long friendship with her best friend, Marguerite Doss, with whom she went to kindergarten with, and the two lived one door away from each other most of their adult lives.

A graveside service for June will be held Friday, November 22, 2019 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at Olivewood Memorial Park, 3300 Central Ave., Riverside, CA 92506.
