For those of you who had the privilege to know Kevin well, know that he never met a stranger. He was the first to offer help if needed and would give you the shirt off his back if he could. It was his huge heart that he will always be remembered for and the thing I most looked up to and admired in my big brother. There are no words to express just how much he will be missed by family and friends. In his short life, he touched many people and leaves many memories in his wake.
After our father’s passing we moved to Hudson Street, there Kevin met the Russells. You could hardly see Kevin without one of the Russell boys when they were kids. Kevin was extremely active in the FFA at Jurupa Valley High School from 1991-1994. Many of the people he met during that time became lifelong friends. We never got tired of listening to the shenanigans they would get into while at the fair.
Kevin loved being a truck driver, he always said that that was what he wanted to be when he grew up. Driving the truck gave him the opportunity to see a great deal of the United States and wherever you had to go, Kevin always knew the best way to get there.
Most of all, Kevin loved his family and friends. Some of his fondest memories were of those times spent at the river, or camping, with cousins and friends. He was always the life of the party and knew just what to say to put a smile on your face. He was always our big teddy bear!! Whether you knew him as Kevin, Kev, Big Kev, or Tiny, he will never be forgotten and is now one of our guardian angels, and I personally feel that I couldn’t have asked for a better angel in my corner. We love you Kev, Give everyone our love, and until we meet again…
