

Lynda Camille Wheeler was born in Pomona, California on May 9th, 1942 and passed in her home in Norco, California on February 1st, 2025. She survived 82 years of life, almost making it to her 83rd birthday.
Lynda was a Norco resident for over 40 years and loved the whole Norco country atmosphere. Her life revolved around the horse community, from getting married on horseback at Engals Park to Horse Week, Poker Rides, Horseshoes, Rodeos and Barn Dances. She loved her life! Her and her husband Richard "Dick" Wheeler cowboyed up more than they were home, taking their horses on weekend and weeks long trips everywhere. She was where she was supposed to be.
Lynda is survived by her daughters Jane Sullivan of Arizona, Jennifer Summers of Utah and her son Richard Tillema of California. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, Cody Groves, Bryan Summers and Rebecca Grien of Texas, Ryan Sullivan of California and Sean Sullivan of Arizona. She is also survived by 3 great grandchildren, Ayden of New Mexico, Payslijo and Finlay of Texas.
Lynda is preceded in death by her parents, Elgar and Maggie English, her sister Janis Bost, her husband Richard Wheeler and one daughter, Judi Groves.
Crestlawn Mortuary will be taking care of the final arrangements. RIP Lynda!
A memorial service for Lynda will be held Friday, February 28, 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Pierce Brothers Crestlawn Mortuary, 11500 Arlington Ave, Riverside, CA 92505.
