Margaret Walters

RIVERSIDE MARGARET (NONA) WALTERS Margaret passed into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior on Thursday, May 27, 2010 in Riverside, CA, due to complications from Alzheimers Disease. She was born to T. Dewey and Nevara Tyson on May 21, 1930 in Donalsonville, GA. However, she was raised primarily in Houston, TX and lived most of her adult life in Riverside, CA. Margaret was a great lady and a perfect wife and mother. Margaret worked at several jobs but retired in 1986 from the Riverside Unified School District as the "Health Clerk" at Chamowa Middle School. However her careers were as wife, mother, and Christian. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Mr. Thomas D. Tyson (Jan); daughter, Mrs. Sheela N. Lewis (Kurt); grandson, Mr. Clayton W. Defrese and granddaughter, Miss Jessica M. Bailey. Margaret is survived by her husband of 54 years, Larry F. Walters; daughters, Ms. Vicki L. Bailey, Mrs. Kris M. Hyden (Rick), and Mrs. Larriann Pohlad (Jerry). She is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and brothers Bill and John Tyson, of Texas. In lieu of flowers she has requested donations in her name to the "Children\'s Ministries" Dept." of the "Riverside Free Methodist Church" at 8431 Diana Ave., Riverside, CA 92504-3310. Margaret also requested a "Celebration of Life" type service which will be held at the Church on Sat., June 5th, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. There will be no inurnment service, nor reception following the service.
