Mark Anthony Williams was born September 11, 1962 in Flint, Michigan. He moved to California in 1982 to better himself and make a better life for his family. Mark married in 1986 and had two sons, Markie and Matthew. He spent 25 years working at Ball Glass to support his family. He then moved to Norco in 1994. He enjoyed living in Norco because of the unique lifestyle. He would not purchase the house he resided in unless the previous owner included the goat.
Mark started working at the age of 15 at a medical supply company. He was always a hard worker. He went to LA Trade Tech to obtain his Electrician Certificate. He strived to do better and provide for his family.
He loved his mom with all his heart and loved his entire family. You felt like his best friend just by talking with him. When he was young he loved to listen to rock and roll and always had a boom box in hand. His car stereo always had to be the loudest one in the neighborhood and he could be heard from a block away. He loved riding his Harley, joking around with people and hanging out with his best friend Thierry.
He was always proud of his sons and spoke highly of them. Within the family, he was famous for his long lectures in the garage. His sons thought the long lectures were extremely boring, but as his sons got older they began to appreciate the long lectures. To this day his sons hold the memories of the lectures close to their hearts.
Mark was firm in his decisions but was always loving. He always meant well. He was always quick to apologize if he offended or hurt someone’s feelings. He always encouraged people to do the right thing and make right choices. He was always willing to talk to you and gave good advice. He always said to never go to sleep on bad terms with someone. He loved helping people and giving a helping hand no matter what the situation was. He accepted the Lord in 2011 and enjoyed church life with his brothers and sisters.
Mark looked forward to having grandchildren and was extremely happy to find out that he was going to become a grandfather. He always wanted a granddaughter and he received his wish. He spent every moment he could with his grandchildren before passing. He planned to travel with his grandchildren when he retired.
Mark met his sweetheart, Nolberta, in 2007 at a training class in Anaheim. He married his sweetheart in December 2011. Him and his sweetheart enjoyed movie nights and the beach. He and his wife loved to dance to loud Christian music in the garage. The music was always so loud that the neighbors could hear it.
His wife was diagnosed with cancer in 2008 and while she was battling cancer, he purchased Blanca, a white German Shepherd, to help her fight the cancer. Mark was always by his sweetheart’s side while she battled cancer. In-turn, she was by his side through his entire battle of cancer. They truly loved each other.
Mark fought cancer from May 2013 up till the very end. He was always strong through cancer and never showed any tears. Mark died too young. He is now resting in peace with his loved ones that preceded him in death; especially his mom. He has left a void in all our hearts and will truly be missed.
Our family would love for you to join us at Mark and Nolberta’s church for food and a time to remember Mark.
