She attended The Ohio State University College of Pharmacy from 1952-1955. When her family moved to Riverside she transferred to the University of California Riverside. She graduated in 1957 with a degree in biochemistry and was employed at UCR in the Biochemistry Department until retirement. Pat enjoyed riding horses, and was a member of the Arabian Horse Association since 1960; as well as a true supporter of the U.S. Equestrian Team Foundation. Pat was a life long member of the Classic Thunderbird Club International, and served as President and Newsletter Editor of the Inland Empire Classic Thunderbirds.
She also belonged to Earlybirds of Southern California, Fabulous Fords Forever, and Fabulous 50's Ford Club. For 30 years Pat met for morning coffee with one or more of a group of 12 friends from all walks of life. Over the years they met at 7 different shops or restaurants several days each week to share common stories and good times. Pat had been a member of the First Congregational Church of Riverside since 1956. She is survived by her sister Nancy Mae Roberts of Riverside as well as many cousins, and wonderful friends.
On Friday, January 25, 2019, at 2:00 P.M., a Memorial Service celebrating Patricia Ann's life will be held at Acheson & Graham Garden of Prayer Mortuary, 7944 Magnolia Avenue, Riverside California 92504.
Private interment will be Olivewood Memorial Park, 3300 Central Avenue, Riverside, California 92506
