Paul M Danbo

Paul Michael Danbo was born on January 14, 1953, in Hibbing, MN, to Roy & Violet Danbo. On Saturday, February 17, 2024, he passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family; Patti, his wife of nearly 50 years and his children Candace (San Diego, CA), Marissa (Riverside, CA) & Zachary (Riverside, CA). Paul was preceded in death by his brother Dan and leaves behind three sisters, Deanna Rhoades (Dallas, OR), Kathy Davis (Portland, OR), and Linda Danbo (Riverside, CA). Paul attended Rubidoux High School, where he met his wife, Patti. They resided in Riverside, CA, where they raised their three children.

Early in his career, he worked on the Alaska pipeline as a heavy-duty repairman and was a member of Local 302 during that time. He spent most of his career at ACI as the Equipment Superintendent and continued to work construction throughout the years, ending his career with Guinn Construction in Bakersfield, CA. Paul was a proud member of Operating Engineers Local #12 for over fifty years. Outside of work, Paul enjoyed volunteering his time to local charitable organizations, including St. Catherine’s baseball and their church festivals, as well as serving as the President of Junior All American Football. He enjoyed gardening and spending time with his family and dog, Abby. Over the years, he spent many summers vacationing at Lake Havasu, boating with his family & friends.

Paul will be greatly missed by all who loved him. A visitation will be held Thursday, March 14, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Pierce Brothers Crestlawn Mortuary, 11500 Arlington Avenue, Riverside, CA 92505. The funeral service will take place Friday, March 15, 2024, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at St. Catherine of Alexandria Catholic Church, 3680 Arlington Ave, Riverside, CA 92506, with the committal service immediately to follow at Pierce Brothers Crestlawn Memorial Park, from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM. Family and friends are welcome to continue the celebration of his life at his home in Riverside following the services.
