Pedro Lopez Rios

A celebration of life service will be held for Mr. Pedro Rios on Friday July 31, 2015. The Rosary will start at 1:15 p.m. at Queen of Angels Catholic Church, 4824 Jones Ave., Riverside, CA. Mass will follow directly after the Rosary at approximately 1:45. The interment will commence at 3:00 p.m. at Pierce Brothers Crestlawn Memorial Park, 11500 Arlington Ave., Riverside, California. Father Jerry will be officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Queen of Angels Catholic Church.

Mr. Rios was born on January 18, 1919, to Jose and Catalina Rios. On July 16, 1937, he married the love of his life, Armida. Mr. Rios loved to work on cars. He enjoyed rebuilding cars in his spare time. He was a baseball enthusiast, a big fan of the Los Angels Dodgers and then later switched to the Anaheim Angels. He also enjoyed reading, gardening, and spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Mr. Rios is survived by his 9 children, Lupe Saenz, Pedro Rios, Armida Rios Padilla, Joe Rios, Letty Rios Fenner, Armando Rios, Jaime Rios, Sylvia Rios Angel, and Alex Rios; 32 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Armida Rios in 2000, his son, Arturo Rios in 1972, 2 grandchildren, and 4 siblings.
