It's been a year since you left us!  I miss you so much Randy.  I need you to bring the fun, love and your crazy jokes back to my life.  Oh, what I would give for a phone call or one of your hugs.  Resting peace my dear sweet Randy.  You will forever be in my heart.  Mom

The Luckey family sends our condolences at the loss of our dear cousin Randy. We hope you and the other cousins that have left us don’t cause too much of a ruckus up there. I know there is going to be one heck of a Mott card game going on. I hope Pinky doesn’t pinch those cheeks too hard.

When we all heard the news instantly and simultaneously all our hearts were broken in disbelief. Our dear childhood friend and leader of the Randy Carter Klan was gone, just unimaginable. We spent everyday, every weekend together having great laughs always. Those had to be the greatest times. Watching Randy eat a bowl of cereal had to be the funniest thing ever plus when he would sing the Blue Öyster Cult song Don't fear the Reaper in his underwear. That was classic. There was one good time that I missed out on .Everyone  there is reminded about it everyday when they get out of the shower. The day RCK went to the Pike in downtown Long Beach and came home with the funniest cartoon tattoos on their arms . Randy got RCK on his arm  that was cool and  that was our chant RCK.
 Anybody that knew Randy I know shares my feelings and has their own special moments and memories with him. You'll be so missed Randy Carter.    Everyone in the RCK had a second set of parents which would be Jenny and Tom Anderson trying to control the mayhem. Live bands in the living room, toga parties, Halloween parties, jacuzzi parties, endless whiffle ball games and drinking mini lowees  brau. All our hearts go out to you Mr. and Mrs. Anderson and we all appreciate the time you gave us to grow up in your house. Thank You.     
I'm so glad I came to visit you at your house a couple years ago and  Randy was there. He was the same guy we all use to hangout and  enjoy. I had a great time visiting that day. I am so grateful for that  recent memory. Love always, take care Steve, Jeff and Danny

I met Randy on a flight years ago, and we stayed connected through Facebook. His posts often made me laugh out loud. He truly was a good man.., I saw that through his testimony on Fb. 

I will be praying for you all. It is our loss but absolutely his gain. Philippians 1:21

Once in a lifetime, we meet someone who ignites a fire within you. Someone whose warm smile and unspoken words captures your heart. You know that the two of you are made for each other.  That's exactly how I feel about you. It may have taken us time to find each other, but know how blessed I am to have had the time I spent with you. I am heartbroken and missing you every minute. You are everything to me and I will love you forever.
God blessed the broken road.

I don't know where or how to begin to describe Randy.  He was the light of so many lives and he is missed terribly. Randy was born and raised in Southern California.  He was a great athlete playing football and soccer as well as coaching his daughter in various sports. He made lifelong friends/brothers in school, sports, jobs and in the Army. He was the second of four sons and as you can expect, he and his brothers gave their parents heart stopping moments, laughter and love. Randy was adventurous, loved the outdoors (in cool weather places) and wanted to excel at everything he did.  After high school he joined the Army and served in Germany. He was very proud of his service, was in awe of his life in Germany and loved his Country. After completing his service in the Army, Randy moved to Washington state where he loved the cold weather, rain, beautiful trees and waterscapes. Randy held various positions in his career, loved challenges on how to fix something and was always watching videos or reading to gain more knowledge of how things were built.  He had dreams of starting his own business and inventing better tools for landscaping and leaf removal.  I called him my own MacGyver. Randy had a heart of gold.  No matter how his day was going, he always asked his family and friends how they were doing and would bring a smile to everyone's face.  Many people know that he loved to tell jokes.  Most were funny, but some I could not understand or were dumb, but I would laugh anyways.  Randy was very kind, funny and the love of my life.  He would not want any of us to cry, as a believer in God, he would say that it is not goodbye, but it is "we'll be together again".

I have so many precious memories of you Randy.  I was with you the day you took your first breath and instantly knew you were going to be a very special person in my life.  You didn't disappoint me son!! God gave me a perfect baby boy and I am returning  a perfect man.    So very proud of you.  Rest in peace son, you will always be with me.

You were so happy!! You were supposed to grow old "together".  Thank you Kelly for everything.

What are we going to do without you!  💖

I am so sad to hear of this tragic news. Randy was well liked and respected by all his peers and will be deeply missed. My thoughts and prayers to the entire Carter family and friends of Randy. R.I.P. Randy
