Sending heartfelt thoughts and hugs on this Thanksgiving day to you my beautiful momsie and all the family in heaven. As the family prepares delicious food and gets ready to gather and fellowship with one another, we know that these special occasions are not the same without you. We cherish the memories that were created when you were here and we hold them in our hearts until the day that we can hold you in our arms. I know mama, you are in a better place, but it's still hard not having you here to talk to. I've lost count on how many holidays have past. Happy 77th anniversary my momsie and daddy in heaven! My heart is full of joy knowing you're celebrating in paradise together with the Lord and the angels. Oh what a beautiful sight that must be. We miss you both so much . Time doesn't make things easier, it's just a constant reminder of how much you're loved and how much we miss spending time together. That's why the memories are what we have to hold on to until the Lord brings us together again. I know that you're watching us from above. Can you believe I now have six great grandchildren. Two from Jon's son and of course four from my grandson Jay Jay. I haven't met the twins yet, but I hope to meet them soon. Hi my beautiful momsie! I wanted to make sure I was able to send you a message on this beautiful Easter day. We know you're celebrating Easter with all the angels. Jon and I spent most of the day resting. Having a lot of health issues. It's hard when we're both down for the count. But we do the best we can. We're thankful every day that God gives us. Today, was pretty quiet for us, but a lot of the family got together to atten Sunrise service and gather for food, fun, and fellowship. Wish we could of joined in, but we were there in spirit. Happy  "pretend" birthday" in heaven Momsie! So sorry I'm a little late in posting this. I have had a pretty rough day, but I didn't want to end the night without sending you love from Jon and I. I know that you're in a better place, celebrating with daddy, Tony, Benny, Joe, Debi, Kathy, Laura, Anthony and Stephen. Plus our other family in heaven. There are no words to describe how much we all miss you. I especially miss our daily phone calls. I miss hearing your voice and your infectious laugh. I have said this so many times before, that I wish I could touch your beautiful face one more time. I look at pictures of you and a lot of times I'm always touching your face. Hi Momsie, forgive me for not sending you a message on New Years. Jon and I have been under the weather for several weeks, but there was no way I wasn't going to write something today. Because on this day, 10 years ago you went to be with the Lord. They say time heals all wounds, I think time is a constant reminder of how much you miss your loved ones in heaven. Momsie, you were a beacon of light in this dark world and I continue to try and follow your example on how to love one another. I will hold you in my heart, until I can hold you in my arms and touch that beautiful face. Praying 2025 brings good health for Jon and I. Please watch over us, because since Jon had the heart attack, I can't tell whether he's feeling good half the time. He never tells me. I think its like he doesn't want me to worry, but I worry more if I don't know if somethings going on. I hope to get out to finally meet the twins in a couple months. Now I'm officially a great grandma to 6 kids. Wow. I wish you were here to meet all your great great grands. Our family sure is growing, and we''re so blessed. Merry Christmas Momsie! I wanted to make sure that I sent you and the family a message in heaven before the night ends. Jon and I are a little under the weather today, but tried to enjoy today as best we can. We have so much to be grateful for. Jon had a heart attack a couple months ago and it's only through Gods merciful grace that he is here to celebrate Jesus' birthday. We also are now proud great grandparents to six beautiful children. Jay and Mariah had twins girls in September. We are so blessed and are so thankful to our God for everyday we have on this earth. Momsie, I miss you so much. Do you remember when I was a child myself, and I would get sick or be in pain I would call out for you "Mama, Mama"? I don't care how old I am, I still call out to you. I miss you so much. My dear sweet momsie. 9 years ago today at 6:02 am, heaven gained the most loving person I have ever known. You my beautiful mama. They say that time heals all wounds. I say time is a constant reminder of how much you love and miss them and God is a constant reminder that if we do as he commands, we will be together again in heaven. I will try everyday to love as you love and how God wants us to love. You my mama, are a beacon of light, that shines on all those who love you. Only a memory away, and always close at heart. Well my mother here we are the start of a New Year. 2024 Wow! Hard to believe in just 17 days, it will be 9 year's since you went home to heaven. There isn't a day that goes by that you don't cross my mind. I still think about the time we spent with you in Guam and Hawaii just one month before in December. Never did I think I would get a call on New Year's day 2015 that you were in the hospital. I boarded a plane and was on my way to Cali. You were the strongest person I knew, but when I walked into your room this feeling came over me that I knew deep within my soul that God was preparing to take you home. You held on for so long like you wanted to stay and we wanted so badly for God to give us a miracle, but it wasn't meant to be. I miss you mama, but I know you're in a better place. Don't worry about me. Your son in law is taking care of me and you know that he's got to be pretty special to deal with me. I will forever hold you in my heart until God reunites us again. Happy Thanksgiving momsie! Sorry I'm a little late, but Jon and I had a very busy day hosting his family and we did all the cooking. Whew! It's just about midnight here, but I didn't want to end the day without sending wishes to you and all the family in heaven. I can picture the Thanksgiving celebration y'all are having with the angels. It's been over 2 years since we had Jon's family over. It was a lot of work. You remember all the gatherings we had. It was worth it to catch up with the kids and play with the great grandkids. Boy they just plum wear you out. lol Jon's zonked on the couch. I just wanted to tell you that I miss you mama. I'm so thankful to be your daughter. I just wanted to tell you that. I wished I told you that more when you here. Well, I better close for now. I can barely keep my eyes open. I'll be back soon. Hi momsie, Jon and I wanted to make sure that we wished you and Jon's mom a Happy Heavenly Mother's day. It so hard to believe it's been 8+ years without your presence and 24+ years without Polly. I never had the pleasure of meeting her, but I'm sure you two are watching down on us and making sure we're ok. One day we'll all be together again in Gods timing. Jon made me a wonderful meal, and of course I over ate. but it was worth the belly ache. lol We sure miss you all, but find comfort knowing you're all together in paradise. We miss you beyond words. Wow, today marks the 8th Mother's Day without you. Sending love to you my beautiful mom, and all the mother's in heaven. These are the worse days, because we're not able to celebrate with you physically, but as difficult as it is, we are celebrating you in spirit. You will remain in our hearts. mind, body and soul until the Lord brings us back together again. I close my eyes and I see your face, your smile. I see the way your eyes light up and sparkle. Then I smile as tears rolls down my face. Oh how I wish I could just touch your cheek, hear your voice and laughter one more time. You gave so relentlessly of yourself. Happy Easter in heaven my beautiful momsie! I know you're celebrating with all our loved ones. Wishing you were here with us, but I find comfort knowing that you're in paradise. I hold on to Gods promise that one day we'll all be together again. Jon and I went to church service and will be making a nice Easter dinner. It's so hard not being able to gather with loved ones because of the pandemic. Everyone would rather just gather individually just to stay on the safe side. Lord only knows when things will get back to some kind of normalcy. If it ever does. I hope to make it one day to meet my great grand daughter Gianna Remi. I can't believe she'll be two in September, and also Marissa's baby girl Layla. Everyone's growing up so fast and of course that means we're getting older. Please keep me in your prayers. I have a few test coming up to try and figure out what's going on with my back. The pain is so bad, I can hardly get around, but I know that God has a plan for me and he will heal me so that I can better serve him. I miss you so much mama. I can't even put it in words how much I miss you. I don't care how old you get, you still want your mama when you're not feeling good. One day I hope all this pain will be behind me. Momsie, I'm so upset with myself that I didn't post this on your anniversary. I'm sorry I thought I did, but of course I didn't. With all my health issues, sometimes I don't know what day it is. I didn't forget. I will never forget the day our lives changed forever.

Remembering  mama at 6:02am. The minute she entered the kingdom of heaven. I'll never forget how beautiful you looked when I walked into the room. There was a light luminating around your bed and all I could see was this beautiful angel. You looked so peaceful momsie. All the pain was gone. I knew that you were with God and that gave me such comfort. To this day, I would give anything just to touch your beautiful face one more time, or hear you saying, "I may surprise you and just pop in" when I would ask you to visit, and Jon would say "I'll leave the light on".  Mama you always showed us unconditional love in how you lived your life. You were a pure example of God's love for us. Happy New Year my beautiful Momsie! As we leave behind 2021 which has been a really rough year, we look forward to better day's. We trust that God is in control and has a plan for each and everyone of us. Jon and I didn't do anything other than go out and grab some Chinese food (I didn't feel like cooking) and we barely made it to midnight. We both have been having some health issues that we hope with some positive and lifestyle changes we hope to feel better mentally, spiritually and physically. It's so hard to believe that on the 18th of this month it will be 7 year's since you went home to be with the Lord. There isn't a day that goes by that we don't think about and miss you and the rest of our loved ones. We look forward to the day when we're all back together again. Momsie, we wanted to wish all the family in heaven a Merry Christmas. We know that you all are celebrating the birth of our
Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Jon and I had a pretty quiet day today. We actually got with his family last weekend to celebrate Christmas. I received calls and texts from the family in Cali. I even did a Zoom call with Deb, Johnny, Fay, Christian, Jay, Mariah and your great great grands Johnny Michael and Gianna Remi. They're getting so big. It's times like these where you really miss the fellowship with family. Hopefully next year I'll be able to get back home. Your newest great great granddaughter Gianna Remi turned 1 year old this past September and I still haven't met her. Momsie, I can't believe next month will be 7 year's since God called you home. These past couple year's have been so rough with the pandemic. Losing our dear brother Joe in 2020 and losing Stephen this past August and now Anthony just last month. I know God is in control of all things and he has a plan for all of us. We trust him and know that it's through his grace that we may have salvation. I can't wait to be reunited with you, daddy, Tony, Benny, Joe, Debi, Kathy, Laura, Stephen and Anthony. Never goodbye momsie, until we meet again. I love you beyond measure. I will be back soon. Hi Momsie! I meant to post this the other day, but things just got away from me. I was thinking about daddy, on what would of been his 104th birthday. I know that he's with you in heaven and everyday is a celebration. I put together a collage of memories of some of the many good times that we had together. It was hard to choose what pics to use, but I think I captured the love that we shared and the love that we miss everyday that we're apart. This time on earth is very challenging, with all the craziness and bad things that are happening. We try to stay focused on the bigger picture and that is that one day God will bring us all together again. Please give daddy a kiss from all of us and hug Tony, Benny, Joe, Debi, Kathy and Laura for us. We miss you all so much. Time doesn't heal all wounds, it just make you realize how much you mean to us and how we wish that we could see you again. Happy Mother's day momsie! It's so hard to believe this marks the 7th Mother's day without you. It seems like yesterday that you were here with us. They say that time heals, I say it just reminds you daily of how much you miss that person. There is no greater love then a love that a mother has for her children. You were a great example of that. Having 10 children to raise pretty much on your own because daddy was away on the ship and even when he was home he left all the child rearing to you. That was the way it was back in the day. The father's worked as the mother's stayed home. Thank you momsie for all you did for me and all the family. You always said "I may not be rich with money, but I'm rich in love and family. I know you're in a better place, but you're thought of quite often. I thank God for all the pictures and all the memories of our time together. I will miss you until God brings us together again. Momsie, I'm so sorry that I forgot to post this on Easter. I tell you, my mind is all over the place. I guess you can blame it on old age. lol Mind you I didn't forget to post on FB for all the family to see.  I guess it's better late, than never.  Of course I was thinking about you and all the family that day like I always do. Wishing for just one more day, one more conversation. One more time to touch your beautiful face. That day Jon and I attended Easter service in the church parking lot. We then went to town to grab a bite to eat, debating if we wanted to have a Easter lunch or get something and have an Easter dinner. Well, we ended up eating at Taco Bell, so yes we opted to make a nice dinner. I of course had shrimp, lobster cakes, and clams and your son law had a ribeye steak with bake potato. I really try my best to remember special days that although you're not here to celebrate, I want you to know that we are thinking about you, wishing you were here. I find comfort knowing that he's in the presence of our Lord and Savior along with all of you that were there to greet him. Things have been so difficult with all the craziness going on in the world. Momsie, it's hard to believe it's been 6 years since you left us. I remember so vividly when we got the call to get to the hospital. As I got out of the car a rush of emotions filled my soul. I knew even before entering the hospital that you were gone.  I am at peace knowing you're in a better place, but I still miss you beyond words. So many things I wish I would of said, so many things I wish I had done differently. We take this precious thing called life for granted. Tomorrow isn't guaranteed, so we need to live today as if it were our last. I try hard momsie to follow your example and love unconditionally. I will continue to love as you loved. We may not have much money, but we are rich in love and family. So please continue to watch over us, in these trying times. I pray that God continues to keep us safe and protect our family. Merry Christmas in heaven momsie and family! So sorry that I'm posting this late. I could of sworn I did, but obviously I didn't. I haven't been feeling that well lately, both physically and mentally. With the sudden loss of our dear brother Joe last month, whom I'm sure you were all there to greet as he entered the kingdom of heaven. Our hearts are so broken that he's no longer with us, but we do find comfort in knowing that he's now reunited with you all. Momsie, this year has been very trying for all of us. We pray the Lord heals our world, and all the chaos going on with the Covid-19 (that took our brother) and has affecting several family members. God is in control of all things and I pray daily that he protects us from the evils of the world. As we get ready for the New Year, we hope it brings better days. We miss y'all so much. Happy Thanksgiving in heaven Momsie. I know it has been quite some time since I've posted anything. This year has been a very tough and tragic time and it  doesn't look like it's going to let us anytime soon.  The most tragic thing that happened, which I know you already know is that my dear beloved brother Joe passed away less than two weeks ago. It was so unexpected, and we're still trying to cope. We asked God for a miracle and he took our brother home to heaven. Not only is he in the presence of our Lord and Savior, but he has reunited with all of you. I know there was a lot of celebrating going on up there. We miss you all terribly, but find comfort knowing that one day we will see you again. So momsie keep on watching out for us. I know you gave your son a big hug. So please hug him from all of us. I promise that I will be back soon, but until then I will hold you in my heart and cherish all the memories. Happy Mother's Day to my beautiful mom, who is celebrating with the angels in heaven. There are no words that can come close to expressing how much I miss you momsie. Especially on special days like this, for some reason it's so much harder. I would give anything to be in your presence, to be able to reach out and touched that beautiful face of yours. I'm so glad that I have  many phone recordings pictures and videos.  I don't think I would make it through without them. I just close my eyes and listen to your voice, your laughter, your witty remarks and they always put a smile on my face. There's so many crazy things going on in the world. We know you're watching over us. We lost Jon's dad this past week, so things have really been emotional. Please introduce yourself to him and welcome him into heaven.  God answered our prayers and he went peacefully. He is now in the presence of our Lord and Savior and reunited with Jon's mom. Your great great grandson is growing like a week. Hard to believe he's a little over a year. We Facetime a lot, but he's got a little temper on him and when he isn't in the mood he will definitely let you know. Right now your son in law is making me a special dinner. You guessed it, shrimp, steak, eggrolls, clams and rice. So I will close for now, but I will be back soon. That's all I have to remember all the cherished moments with you, and the rest of the family that are no longer here. I find comfort in God's promise that if we are good disciples and do his work here on earth and spread the good news and show love the way God loves, than one day when he comes back for his people, we will all be reunited with our loved ones in heaven. What a celebration that will be. It's been pretty tough these last few months. I'm still having major problems walking and in light of what's going on in this crazy world, it's hard to say when I can get it corrected. Right now we're isolated in our homes and I'm just about ready to jump out of my skin. I find myself calling out to you mama, crying for you at times. I know you're not here physically but I feel you spiritually. Remember when I was little and I was a pretty sickly child. I always cried out for you. Even as old as I am, it may sound silly but I still do. It makes me feel better when I'm feeling so much pain. No one can ever take the place of your mama. I miss you so much. My dear sweet mama, I'm so sorry that it's been quite awhile since I've been on here. This is what keeps me connected to you. I feel like you're still in Cali and I'm just writing to you. I know you're not, but it still makes me feel better. My head has been all over the place, so many health issues between Jon and I, it's really thrown me off. I meant to post this pic on the 5 year anniversary of God calling you home on January 18th. I posted it everywhere else and also sent it to my brother's and sister's. Today,  February 3rd, 2015 you were laid to rest.  So I'm posting it now. I  will try and do better. It's hard to believe that you've been gone for that long. It feels like only yesterday.  As I'm sure you know your granddaughter, my goddaughter Marissa is getting married on Sunday. We're flying out on Thursday. Can't wait to see everyone and spend time with my great grandson. You would of loved this little guy, but I know you see all the silly, funny things he does. I promise mama, that I won't let a lot of time pass by, before I  write again. Happy Mother's Day Momsie! I'm really cutting it close, but I have a good reason. We actually just flew in from California. Jon and I went to meet your great great grandson Johnny Michael II for the first time. Mom, I  know that you are watching from above and you see the happiness and joy this little one has brought to the family. I was able to spend 18 days there and I captured my time with this sweet angel. I wish that you were here to meet him, but I know that he will hear all about the wonderful person you were to so many. I know that you're celebrating your special day in heaven. I miss you so much and I love you more than I can put down into words. I am so tired from all the travel, but I just wanted to recognize what an impact you have had on my life and so many others. You live on through us and will never ever be forgotten. I know that Jay and Deb and Fay will tell him all about the wonderful love that you showed through all you did. I will try to love as you love and forgive as you forgave. Happy Resurrection Easter Momsie! He is risen. Praise God! I know that you and all the family in heaven are celebrating. I close my eyes and I can imagine you all dancing around in your perfect bodies, laughing and rejoicing for on this day, Jesus rose from the dead and is with the Father. He died so that we may have salvation. For God so loved the world he gave his only begotten son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16.  Amen! Today, Jon and I pretty much took care of things, trying to get ready for our trip to meet our great grandson, Johnny Michael. I know your watching over him and protecting him. He is such a cutie. I can't wait to finally hold him in my arms and look into his eyes and tell him how happy I am to finally meet him. I'm not going to be there too long, so I want to spend as much time as I can with him, because I know when it's time to leave  I'll be so heartbroken. We're also getting together at one of your favorite places, the Panda Inn. I will make sure we order your favorite dish in honor of you momsie. I can't tell you how much I miss talking to you. Happy 91st Birthday in paradise my beautiful momsie! I just wanted to take a minute before it struck midnight to say that I've been thinking about you all day. Things have been a little crazy, so this birthday wish is just under the wire, but I know that you hear me talking to you all day long. This just kind of makes it official. Seeing that this is my way to connect with you. It's like I'm writing to you as if you're still in Cali. I know it isn't so, but I can wish can't I. It makes the pain of missing you a little less. Go figure, but it works. It's been over 4 years since you went to be with the Lord in heaven. Hard to believe because it feels like yesterday. I always look at your pictures and occasionally I listen or watch the videos. Sometimes it makes me happy, but always ends up with tears flowing down my face. I will always hold you near and keep you in my heart. I love you mom and I know without a shadow of a doubt that you're in a way better place, celebrating with daddy, Tony, Benny, Debi, Kathy and Laura and also all our other loved ones. Happy "pretend Birthday my beautiful mother! There's been so much going on, I almost forgot about your "pretend" birthday. I know every day's a celebration up in heaven. I just wanted you to know that although technically it's not really your birthday (mistake on your ID) I will continue to acknowledge your special day. I know you always said that you have two birthday's for as long as I can remember, and you would get double the presents and get two cakes and two parties. Even when the correction was found many years later, you weren't about to give up your extra day. I don't blame you, I wouldn't either. Like I mentioned earlier, a lot of things have been going on, but I know you already know the most important and special news. Yes, I'm a great grandmother, which makes you a great-great grandmother for the third time.  I know you're smiling down from above, and I know that you're so proud of Jay. Please watch over our little blessing. I wish you were here to meet him. I haven't met him yet, but I'm hoping it will be soon. Momsie, four years ago today at exactly 6:02 am you took your last breath on this earth and your first breath in heaven in the presence of our Lord and Savior. I know that he greeted you with open arms and said, "Well done my good and faithful servant." Then I know papa put his arms around you and said "I've missed you and I'm glad your home." You walked through heavens gate in your brand new body, free of pain and suffering. That in itself helps me get through the rough days when I wish you were here. Just knowing that you're no longer hurting. You held on in that hospital for 18 days, it was the hardest time in my life. I couldn't sit in the room and watch you suffer, and I'm sorry for that. I prayed and I prayed. Asking God for a miracle, but as the days passed, I realized that he had other plans. I pleaded and I begged to heal your body and restore your health, because I wasn't ready to see you go. I was being selfish, so I asked God to stop the pain. You couldn't speak, but I seen in your eyes that you were tired. So I prayed for God to show his grace and mercy. I know you wanted to stay, because you knew we needed you and that's why you held on for so long.  I'll never forget the last couple days before you left, you were making eye contact as if to tell us that you loved us, loved me. I will forever be indebted to you my momsie. You never turned your back on me, when I was at my worse. You are and always will be my inspiration on how to live and show Gods love. I'll be honest, I have been faltering, but I will continue to try and be the daughter that you deserve. Our family is truly blessed to call you mother, grandmother, great grand mother and great- great grandmother. I too, will soon be a great grandmother. Can you believe it? Merry Christmas my mother! I know it's been awhile since I've written. There's been so much going on these last few months. So it hasn't been the greatest time for me and Jon. There isn't a day that goes by that you don't cross my mind, or something I see or hear reminds me of you. I know that prima Marian is reunited with you and the rest of the family in heaven. I was so sad when Lou called me on December 17th telling me that God called my sweet prima home. I'm comforted to know that you're all together again.  I'm thankful to God that I was able to spend time with her back in August when we were out for Jay's wedding. She came to John's to play pokeno, then she came to Deb's surprise 40th and the last time I see her before we left we went to eat at one of your favorite restaurants, Sizzler. That was actually the place we all went as a family the day you went home to heaven. They still have the all you can eat shrimp and the salad bar that you like. Mom, I will be back soon. Jon got me an Air fryer for Christmas and we're going to try in out. I hope you like the pic of me and your son in law. I thank God everyday for bringing such a wonderful person into my life. Happy Thanksgiving in heaven my beautiful momsie! I love and miss you very much. It's been quite awhile since I've written. I hope to get better at writing, but things have been a little hectic. First and foremost the most amazing news. You're going to be a great great- grandma and I'm going to be a first time great grandma. Can you believe it. Yes. Jay Jay and Mariah are having a baby boy and the best part about it, is the baby is due the day before your birthday. Is that a sign from God or what? I think so. I even told Mariah, that whatever she has to do,  just hold off until after midnight. lol What a blessing, another addition to our ever growing family. Jon and I went out for the wedding back in August and also for a surprise 40th birthday party for Debra. Yes, momsie, I am now the mother of a 40 year old. Wow! I will have to close for now, it's been an exceptionally long day. Jon and I went to has dads house and all his family was there. I can't remember the last time it was not held at our home.  Kind of felt good not to have to cook and be the host for a change. I will be back soon I promise. So much has been going on, and my health hasn't been the greatest, but I'm always giving God all the praise and glory for the many blessing he give to us and the family in abundance. I miss you mama, I miss daddy, and Tony and Benny and Debi and Kathy and my precious niece Laura. I know that this is life, and here on earth we're just passing through. I hold on and am comforted to know that one day I'll be with you all again. I'm so thankful for the time I had with you. Hello my sweet momsie. Today is Father's day and I just wanted to take a moment and remember my papa. I have no doubt in my mind that you are together in heaven. It comforts my heart and makes it a little easier knowing that.  Please give him a hug and a kiss from me and tell him that I miss him beyond words. It's been almost 16 years since God called him home, but it seems like only yesterday. I remember all the times he would call to me in the middle of the night because he was hungry, and his favorite thing to eat was canned peaches or pears. So I would sit on the side of his bed and feed him and talk and joke and most of all laugh. I miss that chuckle of his. Sometimes it would get so loud that you would be yelling from the other room to go to bed. I have so many, many memories of papa. I don't have a lot of pictures, because back in the day cell phones were non existent. Not like now, but the few pics I have I cherish. I hope you like this one that I'm posting. I sent it to all my brothers and sisters and even Debra. Sending all my love up to heaven on this special day to honor my daddy. Thank you papa, for always being there for me and never turning your back on me, even during the times that I was not very nice and rebellious. Momsie, today is a very special day up in heaven. I can close my eyes and see you and daddy celebrating his 101st birthday. Oh what a sight that must be! Can you please give my daddy a kiss and hug from me and tell him that I love him and I miss him very much. It's hard to believe it's been over 16 years since God took him home. Time seems to be flying by, but than other times it seems like it drags on and on. It seem like only yesterday, that we were all at the ranch. I have so many memories of the ranch, I just can't believe that soon it will be sold. So I'll keep the memories hidden in my thoughts and when I feel like reminiscing I will pull out the old albums and thumb through the pages and picture those moments we can never get back. On the 21st of this month we lost our dear Joann. It was so unexpected, we're all still trying to cope. Her Celebration of Life is this Sunday. Mama, can you give her a hug from us and tell her she will forever be in our hearts. I'm going to make pancit, because I know she loved it. We hold on to God's promise that we will see each other again. That's what helps me through the days. I love you mama and I know I sound like an old broken record, but I miss you so much. Happy Mother's day my beautiful momsie! Everyday without you is hard but today it's exceptionally difficult, because this is the day that is especially dedicated to all the mother's here on earth and in heaven. All day you receive phone calls and emails and texts and post on Facebook wishing you a Happy Mother's day, but it isn't really a happy day for me, because I'm constantly reminded that you're not here. I can't call you, I can't kiss you and give you a big hug. I can't look into your eyes and touch your beautiful face and tell you that I love you. So although I appreciate all the gestures, I'll be glad when tomorrow comes. Today I read a post from a friend that said "Happy Mother's day, if you're lucky to still have your mother with you, please give her a hug from me". If I had one wish it would be to give you a hug just one more time. One day momsie, I'll be able to give you a hug again. Well, I too got in on posting things and sending messages to the family. Debra and the kids called and of course they miss you terribly as well. It is true what they say, that you never realize what you had, until it's gone. That's why I make a point of telling whoever will listen to cherish the time you have with your loved ones, because only God knows when it's your time. Tomorrow is never guaranteed, so live for today as if there's not a tomorrow. Today your son in law Jon gave me beautiful white roses and a beautiful card and to top it off he made me an ultimate seafood dinner. Shrimp Alfredo, garlic shrimp, stuffed crab and salmon with rice. It was yummy for my tummy. I thank God for the many blessings he bestows upon me and the family. I know that you and all the ladies are having a grand old time celebrating this day in paradise, but then again everyday in heaven is paradise. I hope you like the picture I did for you. Wow the big 9-0! You're getting old mama! Just kidding. In heaven you're young in mind, body and soul. I can see you now, dancing and celebrating this special day with all our loved ones. I can hear the music (Johnny Sablan) playing and you and daddy getting your groove on.  I can almost smell the barbeque ribs cooking on the fire. You know how we roll. We learned from the best. I wish that we could be celebrating your special day with you. I know one day when we're all together again, it will be one big celebration. I talked to Deb this morning and I know that some of the family were going to visit your resting place. Just to feel close to you. I hold you in my heart and feel you near. I miss you mom. My beautiful mother, I just wanted to take a moment before this day gets away from me, to say Happy Easter to you, daddy, Tony, Benny, Debi, Kathy and Laura. This marks the 3rd Easter without you here with us. I know I may sound like an old broken record when I say that it seem like only yesterday that I was calling you on the phone to tell you that I love you and miss you. In my mind I imagine hearing your voice asking me "when I was going to come over", then I precede to ask you "when are you going to come over". There was never a conversation that we had that we didn't say those words. I think back to the last time that you stayed with us. I was trying my hardest to convince you to stay longer. If I had my way, you would of lived with me forever. Then things would of been perfect, but of course we don't live in a perfect world and we don't always get what we want. I am thankful for the times you did visit us. I will cherish those times till the day God calls me home and I'm reunited with you and all my beloved family that are no longer here on earth. Today we rejoice, for he has risen! Jesus died for our sins, so that we may have salvation. I try to do what Jesus has called me to do, but everyday I fall short.  I promise, I will try to be the best wife, mother, grandmother and daughter each and everyday. I hope you like this picture I'm including. This is how I imagine you in heaven. Happy "pretend" Birthday Momsie! Today marks 3 pretend birthdays without you. Where has all the time gone? It seems like only yesterday that you were here with us. They say it gets easier as time goes by, but I don't agree. It seem like I miss you so much more as time goes on. I know that you're celebrating up in heaven with all our loved ones. You're the only one I know that has two birthdays, because you're special. There isn't a day that goes by that you don't cross my mind. I have so many pictures of you all around the house. My sweet mama, I just wanted to take a moment on this special day of love to say that you are never far from my thoughts and you are always in my heart. Your son in law Jon, surprised me with a beautiful bouquet of flowers, although I told him a few days ago not to get me any. He made dinner, which consisted of all my favorites. Shrimp, crab legs, crab cakes and rice. Also, my sweet sister Teresa sent us a 2 lb box of See's Candy. So all in all a pretty good Valentines day. I thank God everyday for bringing Jon into my life. When I think back almost 12 years ago, never in my wildest dreams would I ever think that I would marry the most wonderful man in the world. I thank you for being our biggest supporter. I know mama, you weren't happy that I was moving across the country. To this day that is my only regret, having to leave you, my girl and my grands, but no matter the distance or the time apart, I knew that God had plans and was in control. I just had to trust him. Just like I trust his promise that one day, we don't know when, but one day we will see our loved ones again. That brings me great comfort to know that I'll be able to touch your beautiful face again. You are always with me wherever I am and I will continue to try to make you proud of me. Hugs and kisses. Three years ago today, my amazing mama was laid to rest. I try each and everyday since she left this earth to love as she loved and show by example the way we are to live our lives. This is the greatest way to honor her memory. I miss you everyday my beautiful mother. The whole family misses you. Jay and Johnny went to visit your resting place. Deb and Faith had to work. Momsie, 3 years ago today at 6:02am, you took your last breath on this earth and your first breath in heaven. That was the saddest day of my life. When I think back to that time, I remember all the days you were in the hospital, trying your best to hold on, and fight all the things that were going wrong. I knew the first day I arrived and walked into your room. A terrible feeling came over me that I never felt before, from all the previous times you were in the hospital. This time was so different. I felt deep down in my soul that God was making plans to take you to heaven. I prayed so hard that God would take away all the sickness that was ravishing your body, and restore you back to health. You fought for 16 days as the doctor's tried everything to get you better, but it's God's  plan not ours. He is in control of all things. Believe me I pleaded so hard for grace and mercy, I wasn't ready to say goodbye. Even after 3 years of being without you, there isn't one single day that goes by that I don't wish that I could touch your beautiful face and talk to you on the phone. I have so many recordings of our talks, and on occasion I listen to them, just so I can hear your voice. Yes, tears coming streaming down my face, but they're tears of thankfulness that God gave me so many precious years with you. I have some very fond memories of all the good times we had together, then I have some not so good times, which I wish I could take back, because I know that I gave you such a rough time in my early years and although I have apologized a million times, I know that I hurt you. The love that you had for me mama never waivered. You never turned me away like so many others did after I burned so many bridges. Your love for me is like God's love for me. Who knows where I would of been had I not felt the love coming from you. You kept me close and never let me go, and I thank you so much for that mama, because as I'm sitting here writing tears are continually flowing down my face, because of all the pain I caused you throughout the years, but I'm so thankful to God that he also didn't give up on me and gave me some great and wonderful times with you that I will cherish forever. What comforts me to know without a doubt that you're home in your perfect body, dancing on the streets of gold with my daddy. Momsie, you were the glue that kept our family together, and I'm sure it breaks your heart to see division amongst us. Please watch over us and help us to come together. Nothing in this world is worth breaking the ties that bind us. It's times like now, when you know you've been bad and you need the love of your mama to get you straight and on the right path. There is no greater love aside from God, then the love of your mama. Nobody or nothing. I do try, to emulate that love, but I guess you could say that I'm a work in progress. Momsie, I apologize for not posting this on Christmas day. You know that you are always on my mind and in my heart. This time of year everything gets a little crazy, but it's been exceptionally crazy! Jon and I have been dealing with a lot of health issues. My poor husband pulled out his back the day before Thanksgiving and was out of work for three weeks. On top of having to deal with that, I too have been going through difficulties with my health. I just can't seem to get it together. Even now, I'm way behind on things that normally would already be done. It's like I can't seemed to get a handle on things. So of course, things start piling up and before you know it, you're overwhelmed. I think I just need to take a step back and take a breath and instead of trying to do five things at once, where I'm not getting anywhere with. Just take it a step at a time. I miss being able to just pick up the phone and call you. I can't believe in just a few short weeks it will be 3 years that you've been gone. Time just seems to be going by so fast, but yet so slow. It's like I can't seem to move forward. Like I'm stuck. I know within my heart that things will get better. Our family is so blessed. Our boys are home. God protected them and kept them in his tender loving care. He brought us all through a terrible time. Why, does he love us so much that he sent his only son to die so that we may have eternal life. He has a plan for all of his children. I know that God has a plan for me, and I know that 2017 has been a rough year, so I'm looking forward to some good things happening in 2018. Jon and I had a very nice quiet Christmas. We'll be having all his family over next week and I'm hoping that we can take a trip out to Cali, at the end of January. Mama, give all the family our love and always know that I may at times be late, but you are always in my heart and in my soul. I will hold you close until God brings us together again. Happy Thanksgiving Momsie! I know you're celebrating up in heaven with daddy, Tony, Benny, Debi, Kathy and sweet Laura. Just wanted to take a moment before the day was through to let you know that I was thinking about you and all our loved ones. It's been a pretty hectic day. We had Jon's son and his family and his daughter and her family. We did all the cooking. It turned out pretty nice, because we don't see them as much as we'd like, especially the grandkids. They're all getting so big and soon will be teenagers. So they have so much going on, that they don't come out to visit as much. I wish they could stay little, but of course that's not the case. I did talk to Lou, and she's missing our brother Benny. The first Thanksgiving without him. So it's sad, but we have to go on with life as hard as it may be at times. In just a couple of months it will be three years since God took you home. Some days are better than others, but there isn't a day that goes by that I don't miss you mama. I have so many pictures of you around the house, so pretty much everywhere I turn I can see your beautiful face. I miss everyone too, but there's just a big hole in my heart and a longing for my mama. I still cry for you mom. I still talk to you as if you are here. I want to believe that you can hear me, and sometimes I feel you near me, especially when I'm not sure what the best choice is, in certain situations. Like you're whispering in my ear to really think about my decision. So I have second thoughts. Lord only knows I don't always make the best choices. lol The holidays are the worse time of the year, especially Thanksgiving and Christmas. When it gets rough, I just pray to God that he will see me through and he always does. I trust God to guide me in my daily struggles, physically, mentally and spiritually. Momsie, today is daddy's 15th anniversary of him going to heaven. It brings me great comfort that you two are together and now my brother Benny has joined you. He was finally laid to rest on the 6th, and he was buried close to you and daddy. Which is good for Lou, when she goes to visit y'all. The memorial Lou had for him was beautiful, although I wasn't able to be there in person I did see the service via facetime. I know our lives on this earth are temporary and our real home is in heaven, but why does it have to hurt so much when we lose someone so dear to us. I can't believe daddy has been gone for 15 years. Wow! Seem like only yesterday, and you mama, it will be 3 years in January. Time just seems to pass by so quickly but yet slowly. If that makes sense. I pray one day I too will be up in heaven with y'all. What a celebration that will be indeed!
I know you're watching over us mama, sometimes I can feel you near by, especially when I'm hurting or feeling pain. Stay close to Jay and Johnny especially as they're going through some rough times. I hope I'll be able to travel to Cali for their homecoming. God willing. I want to be there so bad to be able to give them a big hug, but for now, I continue to lift them up in prayer that God protects them and keeps them in his tender loving care. Mama, this evening we got the worse news. Our brother Benny passed away, but you already know this, because he's in heaven with you and daddy. My heart is so broken. I can't stop crying because in spite of our differences he was still family and I loved him. He was my big brother. You know Benny has always kept to himself. I always worried about him being at the ranch alone. I told Jon that I would imagine him doing something outside or even inside and hurt himself, and not be able to call or reach out to someone. My heart is hurting so much. I know God is control of all things, and it's not for us to understand why things happen the way they do. I know God didn't want him to suffer any longer, so he took him home to be with you and daddy and all our loved ones. Life is too short and tomorrow isn't guaranteed. We have such a big family and we're blessed in abundance, so why couldn't we be there for our brother? That's something we will all have to live with. Forgive me brother, for not reaching out more. Although I live across the country, I should of still tried to keep in touch more. I'll regret that for the rest of my life. Mama, hold my brother close, because I know he missed y'all so much. Now he'll never be alone and he won't have to suffer. We here, will grieve and miss him, just like we miss you. All I want is my brother back, but that's not going to happen. Today my daddy would of turned 100 years old. So mama, please give daddy a big kiss and hug from me and the rest of the family. I can picture y'all celebrating his birthday. Good food, good family and good fellowship. It's so hard to believe that it's almost been 15 years since God took daddy home. I have so many memories of all the time we spent together at the ranch. I remember when daddy would call to me in the middle of the night and tell me he was hungry. So I would open a can of peaches (his favorite). We'd sit and talk and laugh as I fed him and then you would yell out to us, "go to sleep!", you'd get so mad, because we'd be making so much noise. I also remember how daddy used to have the t.v. up so loud and would watch Spanish game shows, and it was so funny, because it seem like he understood what they were saying. I would walk in and he would just be busting up, and me not having a clue what was so funny. Mama, do you remember how daddy would go out everyday to rake the leaves that would fall on the dirt. Mind you he wouldn't use a rake, he would actually sweep the leaves in piles with a broom, then he'd get the dust pan and pick them up. I would be cracking up, because as soon as he picked up one pile and turned to do another, a whole bunch of leaves would be falling down. It was a losing battle, but he enjoyed it. I sure miss you and daddy, but I'm happy that y'all are together again. I hope you like the collage of pics I put together. I didn't have a whole lot of pics, (back in the day) they didn't have the technology they do now, so pics were few and far between. I sure wish I had more. Well momsie, next month Jay is graduating college. Can you believe my only grandson is graduating? Wow! I sure wish I could turn back the hands of time. He used to always call me his #1, but I know you mama were his #1. He sure loved you and daddy so much. Remember daddy would call him tiger. So many memories. I'm not sure if I'll be able to go to Cali. God willing, I will. Well, it's getting late here and Jon's already asleep, so I'll say my goodnight for now. Happy Mother's Day to the most inspirational, loving, selfless woman I have ever known. Today marks the 3rd Mother's day without you. Everyday is difficult, but this one is a rough one. I don't know if it's because of the title and all the Mother's day wishes, that are constantly reminding me that you are no longer here to give my love and heartfelt words to personally. How I'd give anything just to be able to pick up the phone and hear your voice. I've been looking at pictures of you all day long. Posting memories of you with my grands and my daughter. We all miss you terribly. Lou went to spend time with you at your final resting place, just so she could feel close to you. We're all still grieving in different ways.  One day God promises us there will be no more grieving, no more sadness, no more pain. I believe the more you grieve just shows how much you're loved and missed. A way of keeping your memory alive. You will always live in our minds, hearts and soul. Jon and I celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary a couple of weeks ago. We went away and had the greatest time. I know you and daddy always worried about me, but I know that you loved Jon and knew right away that he was a good man. I thank God every day that he brought him into my life. I wish daddy had a chance to meet him, I'm sure he would approve. Momsie, please watch over Deb and the family. It's going to be a rough time for them, for all of us. Please ask God to hold them close and give them peace knowing that he's in control. My health is not the greatest right now, so it doesn't look like I'll be able to get out to Cali any time soon. Happy Easter Mama! Today marks the 3rd Easter without you, but I know you're in heaven, celebrating Christ's resurrection. God loved us so much, that he sent his only son to die for us so that we may have life everlasting. I hope when my time here on earth is over, that I'll be with you and daddy in heaven. I try mama, to be the best, kind and loving person I can be, but I know I fall short every day. I pray for God's guidance in my daily walk. It's not easy, but I hope that I love like God loves. That's one of the things about you, I hold dear to my heart, is that unconditional love you showed to not only family but all that you came in contact with. You didn't have a lot of material things, but what you had, no amount of money could buy. I try to live by the example you bestowed upon us kids, but I know I don't come close. I promise I will keep striving to be the best person I can. I try to be a good wife to Jon. He is the love of my life. I thank God every day for bringing us together, although I wish we didn't live across the country from the other loves of my life. My girl Deb and my grand's, Jay and Fay. Momsie, today would be your 89th birthday. I know that you're celebrating in heaven with Daddy, Tony, Debi, Kathy, Laura, your sister and brother. Too many to count. What a celebration that must be. There isn't a day that go by, I don't think about and miss you. It's hard during special occasions, like today. Wow, mom, today marks 3 birthday's without you. Goodness where has all the time gone. Seems like only yesterday. I hope you like the picture. It's all 10 children and also Debra and her family, whom you and daddy raised as your own. I don't know if I ever thanked you for all that you did for my only girl. She really turned into a beautiful woman, inside and out. I always say that she has daddy's smarts and your heart. She's so strong, but I worry about her, so please mama, keep a watch on her. She's going through a lot. I know God is in control of all things and he has a plan for us all. Sometimes I don't know what that is, but I have to have faith and trust that when God "brings you to it, than he'll get you through it". I can't believe how fast this year is going by. Jon and I will be celebrating our 10th anniversary at the end of this month. Wow! Can you believe it momsie, that someone loves me that much to put up with me almost 11 years. lol (that means laugh out loud) I thank God everyday for bringing us together. I count my blessings every day. One of my biggest blessings was you my mother. You never gave up on me, even when others did. I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Two years ago today, you were laid to rest next to daddy. It was such a beautiful service, and there was so many people there to honor, and celebrate you. Life will never be the same without you, but we must go on. That's what you would want. Some days are harder than others. I thank God for gracing us with the most wonderful, humble, loving person I know for almost 87 years. The bible says: "For we know that when this earthly tent we live in is taken down (that is, when we die and leave this earthly body), we will have a house in heaven, an eternal body made for us by God himself, and not by human hands" 2 Corinthians 5. That brings me great joy, knowing you are in your heavenly body, never again having to feel pain. Thank you God. Momsie, two years ago today, at 6:02 am, you took your last breath here on earth, and your first breath in heaven, in the presence of our Lord and Savior. I can picture you dancing in the streets of gold, in your new body, without pain. Oh, what a beautiful sight! I thank God for the time we had, but if it was up to me, you would be with us forever. Mama, you are the strongest person I know, and I know if you had a choice, you would of stayed. You knew how much we needed you and how much we would miss you. It was so hard to sit in the hospital day after day, knowing in a matter of time that God would be taking you home. I prayed so hard that God would heal you just one more time, like he did so many times before, but I knew from the first day I arrived at the hospital. I think that's why I had to leave your room, because I knew deep in my soul, that this time was different. There was so much going on, and even as strong as you were, raising 10 kids by yourself, because daddy was either on the ship or working two sometimes three jobs to provide for the family, you would not overcome all the sickness that was ravishing your body. We prayed so hard for God's healing, but he had other plans for you. Last night, I went through pictures and videos of you. I cried, I laughed, I cried some more. I thank God for the memories. I'm going to try to organize them, so I can share them with the rest of the family. I know they'll enjoy them. I know I sure do. I feel like I can reach out and touch your face on the screen. I feel so close to you, when I remember all the good times and some not so good times. Lord only knows, I was what you once described as "a crooked candle" I think what you were trying to say, is that you love all your kids the same. Even the ones that at times gave you a hard time. I know I gave you a lot of hard times. When I think back to my younger days of rebellion. I don't know how you survived all the heartache I caused you. Your love for me never waivered. I'm sorry for that mama. I wished I could take all those times back that caused you sleepless nights, not knowing where I was. Thank you for not giving up on me, and thank you for raising my beautiful daughter, Debra. She has your heart and daddy's smarts. Is smarts a word? lol She misses you so much. So does Johnny, Jay, and Fay Fay. You are never far away, because you're always in our hearts. God promises us, that we'll see our loved ones again. I can't wait for that day. December 31, 2016 New Year's Eve.
Mama, I can't believe 2 years ago tonight, Jon and I were sitting in a parking lot, face timing you. We don't get a good signal where we live in the rural area, so we wanted to make sure that we could see you clearly. Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think that would be the last conversation I had with you. I still can see your beautiful face. I knew you weren't feeling good, but you insisted that you would be fine, but just two short days later I got a call saying not to worry, but you were on your way to the hospital. I knew in my heart that something was terribly wrong. That was the beginning to the worse time in my life. God was going to be taking you to heaven soon. I miss you mom. Here we are, in just a few short minutes (6mins to be exact) will be in 2017. Every New Year will be a reminder of you leaving us. I know where you're at. I know you're not suffering anymore. I find comfort in knowing you are in your new body dancing around pain free. That makes me happy. You're with our Lord. So I just want to say, Happy New Year, Mama! Happy Thanksgiving Mama! This time, two years ago, we were celebrating Thanksgiving with you in Guam. We actually celebrated in Guam, and than flew to Hawaii and arrived on Thanksgiving day again. We were so blessed to have "two" Thanksgiving with you. Little did we know, it would be our last. I believe God wanted us to have some special time together before he called you home, and that I am so thankful for. I think you would of been proud of me today mama. We didn't have the traditional Thanksgiving meal, (that we'll do on Saturday, when Jon's kids and the grands come over) Today, Jon and I made, ribs, shrimp patties, red rice, pancit and guamanian dressing. I think you would be proud of the dressing, it reminded me so much of you. Every time I took a bite, I would look at Jon and say "this sure reminds me of my mama's)of course, although it was really good, it wasn't quite as good as yours. Nothing compares to mama's cooking. I learned from the best. I miss you so much momsie. I know you're in a better place, but I still miss calling and hearing your voice. At least I have all the recordings of our phone calls. I have all your pictures. I have all the memories in my heart. mind and soul. Will you kiss my daddy for me. Tell Tony, Debi, Kathy, I love them and can't wait to see them again. Momsie, today is October 17th. The 14th anniversary of daddy's passing. I find great comfort knowing you two are together. I know Mama, that we're selfish, because we wanted you to stay with us forever. I think back over the last few years, how you were in the hospital it seemed like every year. I would come out, to do whatever I could to help you get better, but something was different this last time you were in the hospital. I remember walking into your room for the first time, and this feeling came over me... I knew, I knew, inside my soul that this time was different from the rest. I knew you were going to be leaving us soon. I didn't want to believe it. I tried to get it out of my head. I walked out of the room, knowing you would fight to stay, because you didn't want to leave us, but God needed you in heaven. I miss you mama so much. I just celebrated a birthday last month. I am officially a senior citizen. I have my good days, I have my bad days. Lately more of the later. I thank God everyday for the many blessings he gives to us daily. Blessings we don't see. I've been doing a lot of praying for Deb, Jay, Johnny and Fay Fay. Mama, please watch over them. I ask God for forgiveness and for grace and mercy. I trust he will protect them and hold them close to him, because he loves them. I miss you Mama, I miss you daddy. "Happy 88th Birthday Momsie!" I can picture you celebrating in heaven with daddy, your sister, your brother, Tony, Debi, Kathy and Laura, cousin Becky, Mrs. Tenorio and many more. I can see all the food being prepared, all the ladies coming together to help as the fella's are sitting around talking, waiting for the feast to be ready. Then when you're full, you sit around talking in Chamorro, which of course we were never taught, because daddy said we had no need for it. That was kind of tough, and sometimes a little embarrassing when we'd be at a party and someone would come up and start speaking the language and you have to excuse yourself. I can hear Chamorro music playing and someone pulling you up to dance. You snapping your fingers as you sway from side to side. What I'd give to see you dance one more time. I wish I could have one more day, one more hour, one more minute with you. What would I do, what would I say? I need to stop thinking like that, because it makes me sad and makes me cry. I don't care how much time passes, (15 months) but who's counting. I will always cry for you mama. But today I will celebrate your birthday. I will look at the pictures on the walls, and shelves and remember all the good times. I will watch videos and listen to voice recordings of our conversations. Today, April 9, 2016. I will be happy. Momsie, One year ago today at 6:02am you left this world and went to be with the Lord in heaven. I can remember Jeanette coming into the room and waking me up, telling me I needed to get to the hospital. We pulled up to the front and just as I was getting out of the car, this feeling came over me. Like someone knocked the wind out of me. I knew you were gone. As I went up the elevator, the tears starting rolling down my face. Tears of sadness, knowing that I would never again be able to hear your voice and see you smile and feel your touch. I walked down the hallway and Faith was coming toward me, crying. I asked her "is grandma gone" not sure why I needed confirmation. Maybe I was just hoping I was wrong. She nodded yes. I could still hear her sobbing as she walked away. I entered the room, and the first thing I noticed, was how dim the lighting was. I could see Debra and Pretzel (aka Teresa) there. When I approached the bed, there was this light, this glow, all around you. Your face looked so smooth and beautiful, so peaceful. The pain was gone. It was finally gone. Mama, you suffered for almost 3 weeks. I prayed to God for healing, I begged for grace and mercy. When the family got together the day before, and again couldn't agree on what was best for you because we're selfish and wanted you to stay with us. God had other plans. It was his will not ours. We wanted you here. He needed you there. I know mama you didn't want to leave us. Your life always revolved around your children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchild. You left a legacy that we'll aspire to live up to. Mama, I took a lot for granted. If I could do things differently in my life I would. I realize more now that your gone that I wish I seen while you were here. I could go on and on with the "what if's" but that won't change a thing. I can only start from today to make you proud, be being the best person I can be, putting God first, and love as God loves, and as you loved. It's true what they say, "A mother can take the place of anyone, but no one can take the place of a mother". I will miss you all the day's of my life. Momsie, it's been 10 long months since you left this earth. I try my best not to think about all the time that's gone by. I never imagined a day without you, let alone almost a year. Wow! Where has all the time gone? I still have my moments of longing to hear your voice, crying out to you when I'm sick, wishing I could touch your beautiful face just one more time. I have these voice recordings of us, and on the rough days. I sit and close my eyes and listen to our conversations. I didn't realize how funny you could be. You always knew the right thing to say when I was venting about one thing or another. Thank you for that. Well, Thanksgiving is fast approaching. This time last year we were together in Guam. We surprise you and you pulled my hair because you said I "lied to you" (see photo) How was I to know, that it would be our last Thanksgiving together. I hold on to the promise that God made to all who love him and do his will. That one day we will be together again. I can't wait! So until than, my sweet mother, I will hold you forever in my heart. Please don't worry about me. God brought your son in law into my life. He always tells me that "He loves me the way Jesus loves the Church" I thank God everyday for him, I thank God everyday for you. I can't believe it's been six months since you left us mama. It's so hard not having you to talk to. I miss hearing your voice. I listen to recordings I have of you, so I don't forget what you sound like. I look at videos of you and sometimes I can't control the tears, running down my face, and other times, they bring happiness to my day. I'm so thankful to have them. I hold you close to my heart. You will always be a part of me. I live with thoughts of "if only I did this, or if only I did that" maybe you would still be here. I know there was nothing I could do. God has a plan for all of us, and he needed you in heaven. Our loss is heavens gain. Keep looking out for me mama, like you always do. I need you now more than ever. I pray that goes sees me through this sadness and brings me into a better place. One last thing before I go. I want to apologize for all the headaches I caused you. Mama, it's been four long months since God called you home. They say that time heals all wounds. I beg differ. I know you're in paradise, but I guess I'm selfish when I say that I wish you were here. I was very sick last week and I cried out for you to comfort me. (like I always do) Don't ask me why, but it always makes me feel better when I call or should I say, shout out your name. Can you imagine, at almost 55 years old, and I'm still calling out for my mama. I'll probably do it, till the day I die. I think it stems back from being an asthmatic child. Always needing my mama. I thank God for getting me through the rough times. He knows my pain and gives me comfort. Because he loves me, just like you do. I miss you, and I love you. Two months and one day, I lost the most loving, inspirational person in my life. My beautiful mama. If I can even possess an ounce of love mama showed, I'm blessed. She really was an example, of what God wants us all to be. There's not a day that goes by that I don't think about you. My beautiful Grandma, 

Words cannot begin to describe how much my heart hurts knowing that I can never tell you how much I love you again. But no matter how lost I feel, I know you knew that I loved you with all of my heart, and I know you loved me even more than that. I would give anything in this world just to play cards with you, to make you your coffee with two sweet & lows, or just to lay down with you and watch Bonanza just one more time. Just to see your beautiful face light up when I would come in to your room and say "Hafa?" and wait for you to respond "Hafa Nai!" would truly make my day. Even when I would show you my shaka and just wait for you to do it back to me would make my heart smile. Thank you for all the sacrifices you made for this family. You were the strongest, most loving and caring person I have ever known, so thank you for teaching me to love endlessly just as God would. Thank you for loving my girlfriend Mariah and making her feel like she was apart of your family. I remember the day you asked her when she was going to give you a picture of herself so you can put it on your family tree, Mariah told me how much that warmed her heart. I am so glad she got to meet you and got to see your amazing heart. I want to thank you and pop for teaching me everything you did, because without your guy's wisdom I wouldn't be the man I am today. I miss you so much my dear grandma, but I am so happy that you are reunited with pops and our other family members in heaven. I know you are up there playing pokeno, rummy, and solitaire. I'll always remember you're the Champion no matter what! I promise to do my best to love how you loved, forgive how you forgave, and live as you lived. You will forever be in my heart. Please watch over me and keep me safe as I know you will.

To my Beautiful Mother;

Mom, there are no words that can describe how I truly feel for you. But, I'm going to try & say how I feel at this moment. Let me start by saying that "I Love You Mom & I wish I were a better son to you” I am going to Truly miss you, your smile, your voice, the sound of your laughter, & your Beautiful Face,,, but most of all, the unconditional Love you had for me & my Family (they all loved you so much). Thank you for loving us the way you did. Your Love will forever live on within the GFam.

It's been two weeks since you've been gone, & it's been the hardest two weeks of my life. But, I know that I have to find strength to go on, because that is what you would want of me. I keep hearing your voice telling me “Be Strong Son”. (I'm trying Mom, buts it's not easy for me). This world lost someone very, very special, & if there were more people like you, this world would be a much better place to live in. 

Going through Pictures & Videos these last few weeks has brought back so many memories of my life with you. I thought back, when we would visit you at that the ranch, and no matter how late it was, or how tired you were, you would always make us something to eat (My family still talks about your World Famous French Toast). You were always preparing food for our Family gatherings, chopping vegetables for the Pancit & Lumpias, or marinating the meat for the BBQ. I can say that I took after you when it comes to cooking. I'm glad I was able to make my Tortilla Soup for you, & that you enjoyed it. When you would shop at the commissary (at March Air Force Base) you always had your children in mind, even though you didn't have a lot of money, you did what you could for us. I can remember when my children were young, you would always put groceries in bags for us to take home. (Asking them what kind of cereal they liked). Becky & I find ourselves doing the same thing now that they have grown up & are out on there own. You taught me that money & material things aren't as important as family, to put family first. You are one of the reasons why I loved my children the way I did. I want them to have these kinds of memories.

Mom, I can honestly say, that I don't know another person on earth like you. You were such a Kind, Humble & Loving human being, not just to the people you knew, but even to strangers or people you just met, (I wish I was more like you). You've touch so many people's lives, & your memory will live on in the Hearts & Minds of those that you have touched. 

We all were Blessed to have you in our lives. I am Proud to say that you were my mother, & even more Proud to say that I am the son of a True Angel who God allowed us to have here on earth. Thank you for all that you have done for my family & me. You will forever be in my Heart. I will never forget you Mom… I Love you,

Rest in Paradise Gram. Thank you for accepting me as if I were your own blood. I will forever be grateful for getting the privilege to be apart of your life. Though our hearts ache now, we know that you are happier than ever in heaven. Can't thank you enough for being our angel on earth. I appreciate every moment I got to share with you . You continue to be such an inspiration and blessing to me . I learned the truest definition of unconditional love all because of you. Thank you for having such a genuine love for me. I love you more than you will ever know. In my heart is where you will forever remain. I love you.

As much as I'll miss my #1 fan, I am extremely relieved to know that the heavens above were blessed with the most beautiful soul that ever lived.

You were my world Gramz, words cannot even begin to describe the love and admiration I have for you! You are such an inspiration my love and I promise to try and love like you loved and forgive like you forgave.

Thank you for always supporting me in everything I did, for always coming in your husky shirt and red lipstick to watch me cheer and compete. Cheering won't be the same without you smiling back at me in the stands. Also, Gram I wanna thank you for being the light in so much darkness. Thank you for always helping me see both sides and for teaching me to appreciate the little things in life. Like you always said, "We may not be rich in money, but we are rich in family and love."

I refuse to say goodbye, because just like our song, "Swear that I can still feel you here. I just can't believe you're not here. I've been needing you, all I dream is you."

So my guardian angel, I am extremely thankful to have you in the heavens above, watching over me. I know that you are right by my side and I'm going to make you so proud. Know that I'll be alright sunshine. I love you with all my heart and am blessed to have lived your last years with you.

Grandma, 

I am so blessed to have had you in my life for so many years. I'm one of the lucky ones, for sure! I am so thankful for the memories we shared and that you were able to see me graduate, marry, have a son, and even gain a few gray hairs of my own. :) It made my heart so happy to watch you embrace Randy as part of your family, and enjoy my son and be silly with him. And how great is it that Noah has his own memories with you?! I know you wanted me to have at least one more child, but I hope you know that, though my family is small, my life is filled with lots of love. 

Though we are sad you aren't here with us, Randy and I know you're in heaven, in a renewed body, no longer suffering from discomfort or ailments. It brings us comfort that God loaned you to us for so many years. And we rejoice knowing you are at peace now, reunited with our loved ones and walking with the Lord. 

You have been such an example of love to your family. We're still in awe that you raised 10 kids. 10 kids! And on your own for part of the time. Amazing! When I asked you why so many kids, your response was basically that each child was a blessing to you. You had so much love for them, and, even at 86 years of age, you continued to get so much enjoyment from your kids (it's a good thing you loved to laugh, because your kids are such jokesters!). We hope to carry on your legacy of love and enjoyment with Noah. 

Your adorable smile, beautiful face, and ever-present laughter are burned into my memory. What a gift to have such lovely memories of my grandma. Once again, I'm one of the blessed ones! I share some of your legacies, which keep you in my heart, like putting something on my lips when I go out, being silly, liking to dance, loving to play games, collecting momentos, and enjoying being with family. 

We may not have seen you as often as the other grandchildren, but you always welcomed us with open arms and a red lipstick kiss on the cheek. You made us feel special even though we were a few out of a family of over 50 people. Thank you for that gift of love- for always welcoming us with open arms and making us feel like you were so glad to see us. Truly the greatest gift any grandma can give her grandchildren (and great grandchildren). 

Someday we'll have a joyous reunion in heaven. Until then, we'll carry you in our hearts and memories.

My dearest Mom, As I sit here reflecting on my life and reminiscing about the years we spent together, I find myself sad, laughing, smiling and crying all at the same time.  I didn't know I could feel all those emotions at once.  Sometimes I feel a heavy pain in my chest, a lump in my throat, I feel like I can't breathe. I feel such sadness and emptiness inside since you've been gone.  I am so overcome with emotion. Now I know how it feels to have a broken heart.  I miss you so much, Mom.  I knew the day would eventually come, when you would leave, but I wasn't ready for you to go, so close to losing my other mother(Jose's mom).  I don't understand why, but  it was God's will.  He took two of the most meaningful people in my life. I don't know what to do. I will cherish the memories that we have together.  I wish I would have spoken these words to you, while you were still here to listen to me.  THANK YOU, MOM!! Thank You for being the BEST MOTHER anyone could ever have.  You taught me so many things.You taught me to be humble, you taught me to be strong, you taught me to be proud, you taught me to be kind,  you taught me to live, you taught me  to be thankful, you taught me to forgive, you taught me to love, but most importantly of all - you taught me to know the Lord,  to Love Him with all my Heart,  to forgive as he forgave, and to live as he would live, which I try to do, but a lot of times I falter, but you taught me to always pray.  These characteristics are instilled in me because of you. Thank you, Mom.  I will miss you always and yes I will forever miss your smiling face and hearing your voice.  I will miss spending time with you, calling you pumpkin face, playing rummy and poker-keno. I will miss you telling me stories of your childhood and your times spent with dad and the family.  I will just miss everything about you, but I will hold onto the promise of God, that one day we will all be reunited again.  And what a day that will be!!!  As for now, I will still shed a tear or two, here and there  and my heart will ache for you always, but it brings me comfort to know you are in Heaven, at peace, not suffering, reunited with Dad, Tony, Kathy, Debi, Laura, Nana Isabet, Tata Ramon, Uncle Joe and Auntie Belang, Uncle Chu, my other Mother and other loved ones. And during those moments when I am sad, I will stop and imagine you dancing in heaven, surrounded by our loved ones, in the presence of our Heavenly Father, my tears will dry and a smile will come across my face as I picture how happy you must be. Can you please give my other Mother a hug and kiss from me.  Please continue to guide me to do the right things, even though you are no longer here with me. Watch over us and keep us safe as always.   I know God has his arms wrapped around you and now you are in his care. Thank you for your unconditional love for the last 31 years. 

There are a lot of precious memories held in my heart but the most valuable memories are:
 
When Frank and I would play Pokeno every Sunday with you and when Frank would say 20 games but both you and I wanted to play more games.  I would say 30 games?  Then I would say "Let's vote".   Both you and I would put 2 two hands up each to out vote Frank.   You're son would compromise and say 25 games.  

Frank and I loved preparing and having "Sunday Dinners".  I know you enjoyed all of us sitting around the table and enjoying a good home cooked meal.  I loved picking out new recipes and looked forward to seeing everyone enjoy the food. 

Thank you for always being fair and including me when we headed out of town to visit family.   I enjoyed our trip to Guam, Virginia, Colorado to name a few.     Can't forget our trips to Las Vegas with Pops and the gang.   Every Pala trip is now a gift of memories.   You and Frank in the front and me in the back seat.   I enjoyed hearing Frank and you talk. The conversation would warm my heart.   
Enjoying the amazing music on the car ride and hearing you sing along.    

Thank you and Pops for making such a wonderful son.   I always tell Frank he has your heart.   
I knew Frank would be a good husband by how he treated his precious Mom. 

We'll continue to make you proud by gathering as a family like you always taught us to.  I know you'll be watching us from heaven.   Smiling down.

My Sweet, and Loving Mother, 
You were truly an amazing woman. You were  beautiful both inside and out. My heart hurts because you are no longer here with us, but my heart is also rejoicing knowing beyond a shadow of a doubt that our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ has received you into paradise. 

What an awesome promise knowing the Lord's word "Absent in the body, present in the Lord." How wonderful to know you are in heaven with our Lord, and have been reunited with our loved ones who have gone before you. How exciting to know that along with Jesus, my Papa, my Brother Tony, my Sisters; Kathleen, Debi and Carolyn, my niece Laura, my precious Nana, and Bruddah Tony greeted and welcomed you HOME. 

How my heart embraces the thought of you walking along the streets of gold. As the Lord stated before ascending into heaven, "I go and prepare a place for you that where I am you will be also. In my house are many rooms. If it were no so, I would have told you."  

To know that you are no longer suffering and you have entered into eternity to be with God forevermore brings to me great comfort. WOW, imagine you are in the presence of our LORD!

Mom I want to thank you for being such a great example of God's love. You were so patient and continued to love your children unconditionally. Even to the very end, you would tell us you LOVED US.

You've always been so strong but yet so meek and humble in heart. You always taught us to LOVE one another and to FORGIVE.  I can hear your voice so clearly saying "It doesn't matter who is right or wrong, just forgive." 

You taught your children by example. Not by words alone, but more importantly by our actions. How I love you for this. What an awesome lady you were. 

Although your kids are grown adults, and we have our shortcomings, you continued to impart to us your wisdom, and your understanding. 

You raised us to believe in God and have respect, and to be proud of who we are. 

No matter what, you always seemed to love immensely, and encouraged forgiveness. 

You taught us to strive to be the very best and to always LOVE one another. 

You taught us the importance of family. I remember how you loved for your family to gather and spend time with one another. You would always enjoy the laughter and the loud voices coming for your children and grandchildren. You loved to watch your grandchildren play baseball, wrestle, cheer lead and you were always so very proud. 

Knowing that you LOVED each of us equally, you always treated each one us as though we were your favorite. As to not show favoritism, you would always say "You are all my favorites." 

Every year you would call each of your children and sing Happy Birthday. At the end of the song, you would always say "And many more, on channel four and hoobie do on channel two. We all LOVE you!" You truly expressed your LOVE by your actions.

You have left such a great legacy behind and huge shoes to fill. I challenge and encourage my brothers and sisters to look to your mother as an example of raising your children and teaching them to be proud of their heritage and to believe in God. Always placing God first in our lives.

As she always said, "I may not be rich with money, but I am rich in FAMILY and LOVE." 

Let us carry on this legacy that both my Papa and My Mother would be pleased.

Let us continue to humble ourselves, to continue to FORGIVE as she FORGAVE, and to LOVE unconditionally. To raise our children to LOVE, to RESPECT and to place value on FAMILY.

Let's continue to keep our parents legacy alive. Our value or worth is not in the possessions we obtain, the house on the hill, or the amount of money we've made. The value is what we impart to our children. 

Let us continue to teach our children to LOVE God, and to LOVE Family. To love unconditionally, to be selfless not selfish. More of God and Less of us. Let us not loose sight of the blessing that God intended.  

Mom, you will forever live on in my heart and I will forever carry you with me wherever I go. I will make you proud and continue to strive to be that woman of GOD that you always taught me to be.

I value the lessons that I've learned from you. I forever thank you Mom for the beautiful soul you were and the great example we call your LEGACY. How awesome are you? AWESOME!!!

Mom, as I read the wonderful things many people have written and said of you, I think to myself what you have meant to me. First of all, I truly give thanks and praise to our Lord Jesus Christ for bringing such a wonderful human being into this world, especially one I could call my mother. Mom, the one thing out of all the beautiful things I could say you shown me is "Compassion". With Pop's it was how to work hard. With you, it was how to care for others(even strangers) that may down or less fortunate. As young children growing up you were truly a "Mother" in every sense of the word. It was a different time, you did everything that was expected of you, as a Wife and Mother. You always gave 100%. Really, how many of us could do all you have done and still maintain a happy and cheerful spirit. So, as one human being to another and as a Son to his Mother, I Truly Love You and will Deeply Miss You  p.s. say hi to all the family and friends, especially to Kathy and to Laura whom My Heart Truly Aches everyday for!

Rest in peace Mrs. G. Where there is deep grief there was great love. Our loss is heaven's gain but I will meet you there one day and we can have some lumpias and conversation.

Words can not express how much I love my grandmother. My heart is saddened by her passing but my heart is also happy that grams is not suffering. To understand death is near impossible but to except that death comes for us one day makes it easier. Hu guiya hao grams. I will see you another day in another place.
