Richard Frederick Peña went home to be with the lord on November 22nd, 2018. Surviving polio at an early age, he proved himself strong by living a good life full of wisdom and years. Richard passed away at home in Riverside California, at the age of 87 with his daughter Teresa Peña by his side. Mr. Peña loved his family, and as his grandchildren would tell you, "He was a natural storyteller with an obvious sense of humor." He was happily married for 52 1/2 years to Lucille Peña until her passing in 2005. The family patriarch also loved animals and lived out his last years with his best buddy Dexter (A Fox Terrier, Jack Russell Mix). Richard is also proceeded in death by his Grandson Frank Angelo Peña Junior, Brothers Robert Peña, John Peña, and Sisters Margaret Rios, Grace Torres, and Parents Francisco Gabriel Peña and Mary Peña. He is survived by his children Rosemary Goodwater (Husband Russell), Teresa Peña, Frank Peña (wife Sherry), Nick Peña (wife Kristine), Larry Peña. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren.
