Shirley Elizabeth Falkenberry

She was born August 12TH, 1939, to John L. Hill and Gertrude Darlene Hill of San Diego CA. She lived in Vista, CA for over 50 years, with a short time spent in Fallbrook, CA. Her final years were spent in Saint Paul, MN.

She was a member of Stonebrook Church of Vista, CA and Casa De Adoracion of Fallbrook, CA. She enjoyed sewing and quilting. She was helpful, compassionate, and a bit sassy and rebellious. She is remembered as being very caring, a Grandmother/Nana to everyone.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Joe M Falkenberry in 2007 and her son Joe Keith Falkenberry in 2021. She is survived by her daughter Merry E. Hopkins and Philip of St. Paul, MN, daughter-in-law Cheryl (Cherry) Falkenberry of Phoenix, AZ, sister-in-law Retha Falkenberry of Tulsa, OK; six grandchildren Robert Hopkins and Rita, Heather Misialek (Hopkins) and Kyle, Deisree Chamberlain(Falkenberry) and Russ, Daniel Falkenberry and Linda, Jason Welle, Cherodi Schaetzle and Daniel; eight great grandchildren, Bentley Chamberlain, Jiraiya Falkenberry, Ezri Falkenberry, Jace Falkenberry, Vanessa Hernandez and Rico, Khristopher Allen, Nate Allen, and Ivy Welle; and one great-great grandchild Ava Hernandez. Multiple nieces and nephews and half siblings Charles, Rosie, Anthony, and Josephine Contro.

Shirley loved Jesus and her family. Her greatest wish for us that we would know God and have a personal relationship with Jesus.

Burial services to be held Wednesday October 23, 10:30 am, at the Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, CA.
