Stephen Duane Hargrove, age 75, of Beaumont, California passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, at the VA Hospital located at 11201 Benton St., Loma Linda, CA. He was born on January 4, 1949 in Upland California. Stephen was preceded in death by his parents; Betty Louise Hargrove and Robert Ray Hargrove and his son, Chad Jason Hargrove. In addition to his wife Laura Hargrove, survivors include his daughter, Shannon Chambers, three step children; Suzanne Spangenberg, Andrea Kiser and Michael Michaux; 3 Grandchildren, 2 Great Grandchildren and 2 brothers; Ken Hargrove and Phil Hargrove. Stephen had fond memories of his childhood growing up and high school days at Claremont High School. He was active in sports including; Football, Track, Cross Country and others. He was also in Concert Choir. After he graduated from CHS, Stephen joined the Marine Corps, spending his last 2 years in the USMC as a Drill Instructor. Stephen worked in the retail industry for many years, the last company he worked for was AutoZone, before he retired. Stephen was married to Laura on May 31, 1992. He was a loving Husband, Father and Grandfather and he will be greatly missed, but will always live on in our hearts through the memories and stories of those who knew and loved him.
