Thank you for everything Mr. Stoecklein. I took his biology class in 2014 and till this day I still remember being greeted with a smile, a firm handshake, and the saying “Welcome to the wonderful world of biology.” He was the reason I majored in biology and it kickstarted my passion for nature, science, and learning. My current career as a doctor was shaped by his teachings all the way back in that tiny class room. His kindness, passion, and attitude has shaped who I am today and for that I am eternally grateful. My condolences and prayers go out to his loved ones. May he rest in peace.

What a Teacher! What a loss! Mr. Stoeklein was the Teacher that everyone wished they had. He had my Sister in his Anatomy class years before he had me, and I wasn’t much better, but he was never discouraging. He always wanted to help and he did it with the greatest sense of humor. He gave extra points for spelling his name correctly. Such an intelligent and kind man. My family and I would run into him every Saturday at Farmer Boys and was always so lovely. There is a picture somewhere of him holding my Niece. His kindness is unforgettable. Thank you!

Mr. Stoecklein was my favorite teacher.  I took three of his science classes in high school.  I was always late to class and he was so patient with me.  His anatomy and physiology class was the most worthwhile class I have ever taken.  I have used what he taught me every day of my adult life.
Mr. Stoecklein was the leader of the Rowdy Rams club.  He opened his classroom for students during lunch.  I spent most of my lunches there with my friends.
I wish every kid had a teacher like him.  I hope he knows how loved he was and how much good he did in the world.  I will always remember his big smile and his kindness.

Stoecklein family,
I am so sorry for your loss. Steve was a great friend, a wonderful teacher and an awesome Air Force Officer. We met early in our Air Force Career at Offutt Air Force Base in Omah, NE. The California guy he was, he was not in love with the winter weather there. We went on several vacation together and his sense of humor always made me laugh. He will be missed. Rest in peace Stoeck.
