Stuart was born in Camden New Jersey. He had 2 brothers and 4 sisters. He attended BYU and the University of Utah before attending National University of Health Sciences for his Chiropractic degree. While attending Chiropractic school he met his wife Nancy and got married in the Washington D.C. temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints on May 20 1981.
He took over his uncle’s Chiropractic business in Reading PA where his 6 children were born and they lived for 17 years.
He loved snow skiing and water skiing. After moving to Utah he got snow ski equipment for everyone in the family and started taking them skiing. After going to Lake Powell with some friends he also decided to get a ski boat so we could take family trips to Lake Powell and other places too. We would boat out to a spot and set up camp at Lake Powell. Our kids learned how to camp. He also loved to visit National Parks and hike and canoe. He enjoyed taking our family on hikes in the mountains on Sundays. These were very great and memorable bonding times as a family. He loved riding on his Harley Davidson Sportster motorcycle. He was good at tennis, racquetball, pickleball and ping pong. He played baseball as a kid and pitched a 1 hitter.
Stuart was a very hard worker and had a tough schedule while in Chiropractic college. Some semesters he would take 25 credits. He didn’t take summers off from school. He loved helping people with the health of their body without drugs or surgery. That was a huge part of who he was. He kept taking classes and seminars and getting certified in different techniques. He also had a radio show for 10 years about health and healing with natural means. He would invite some of his patients to speak on his show on how they improved their health with his care.
He really lived what he taught as far as diet and exercise. His breakfast consisted of a large bowl of steamed vegetables and boiled eggs.
Stuart was very active in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served a mission in the Minnesota Wisconsin mission. After being married he served as a High Counselor, Seminary teacher, and later a Bishop. After moving to Utah he was called as a Temple ordinance worker which he enjoyed serving for 25 years.
He is survived by his three sisters Pam, Wendy and Thea as well as his beloved wife Nancy Yeager, and his 6 children Kory, Sam, Kristin, Daniel, Carly and Cindy, who will forever carry his legacy of service strength and love.
Those who have preceded him in death are his parents Bernard and Dorothea Yeager, brothers Craig and Drew Yeager, sister Chris Young.
Stuart had a very strong testimony of our Savior Jesus Christ.
