Richard Soto Jr. entered into the loving arms of Our Lord on April 3, 2026 at the tender age of 29. He was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on October 23, 1996 to parents, Debbie M. Vallejo and Richard M. Soto Sr. Richard was a free-spirited and kindhearted young man who brought joy to those around him with his easygoing nature and deep love for his family.
As the youngest of two boys, Richard shared a special bond with his father and brother. He cherished the time they spent together, especially target shooting—moments that created lasting memories and strengthened their connection. Richard had a passion for skateboarding and could often be found enjoying the freedom it gave him. He also loved sports in all forms, whether he was playing or watching, always appreciating the excitement and camaraderie they brought.
He found peace and happiness at the beach, where he could relax, unwind, and simply enjoy the moment. Known for being a “chill” and laid-back person, Richard had a calming presence that made others feel comfortable and at ease.
Above all, Richard was deeply family-oriented. He held a special place in his heart for his niece, whom he adored and loved to spoil. His love for his family was evident in the way he showed up for them and the joy he found in being together.
He will be reunited in heaven with his grandmother, Alvesa Muñoz Soto and uncle.
Richard’s memory will forever live in his parents, Debbie Vallejo and Richard Soto Sr.; brother, Derrick Soto; sister in law, Jocelyn R. Soto; nieces, Kaydence and Ellie Soto; grandparents, Rodolfo Soto, and Gracie and Ramiro Vallejo.
