Victoria Ann Waite

Victoria A. Waite, 68, of East Moline, IL passed away Friday, December 13, 2013 at the Clarissa Cook Hospice House Bettendorf, IA. Cremation will be done with a memorial service to be held 11:00AM Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at the Hodgson Funeral Home Rock Island, IL. Visitation will be from 9:00AM until service time Tuesday. Vickie was born October 4, 1945 in Moline, IL to Thomas & Phyllis (Heuer) Downs. She was united in marriage to Gary Morisette in 1971; he preceded her in death in March of 1987. She then married Dennis Waite in 1991 and he preceded her in death in 2011. Vickie had been an administrative assistant working in the insurance business, the last 15 years with Bituminous Insurance from where she retired. She loved to garden, go yard sale & Goodwill shopping. She also had a strong love for her dogs Rufus, Vivian, & Lady.Survivors included: 2 Daughters Shannon Woodruff, East Moline & Christian Morisette, Madisonville, KY; 3 Grandsons Zane King Dorey Madisonville, KY, Mike Howell East Moline, James Thompson East Moline; step daughter Stacy Haack, Davenport; & step son Steve Waite, Davenport, IA.

She was preceded in death by her mother.
