Cathi,and Allison, So sorry to hear about Gloria.  I met her when I was very young and she taught me a lot about politics and life.  She was a great woman and I'm so glad I knew her.  Praying for you both as well as the family.

Cathi,your mother was one of the good ol' Democrats!  She'd come into the IL Attorney General's to visit when I worked there.  She always had something fun to talk about.  Much sympathy to you.

To the Draper Family,

To each and everyone of you, I extend deepest sympathy. I first met your mom and dad in our association with little league baseball, and my coaching of  the Auburn Street Hardware team back in the early 1970's.They were proud young parents. I can remember your family loss when your dad died so suddenly in 1974 and how difficult that was for your mom.

From then it was on to several years of good times with your mother's work in the political arena. I will never forget the work she did on my behalf, through my many campaign's . 

My prayer is for all of you at this time and for her to be granted eternal rest.

I remember with Gloria use to come to bowling from time to time and have a few drinks with us girls. She was always fun to be around. R I P Gloria.

Gloria, was my neighbor and great friend she will be greatly missed!

I had the pleasure of meeting gloria through her daughter Cathi.  Gloria felt like a family member to me.  Easy going, could call her talk to her. My prayers are with her family at this time.

I knew Gloria when I was a Democratic precinct committeeman in Winnebago from 1972 to 1982 and when I was a deputy treasurer in the Winnebago County Treasurer's Office from 1973 to 1980.  She was very nice and gracious.  My sympathy to the family.

What a pleasure for us "Carl and Dianna Cole" to have the opportunity to meet with and get to know (a  little better) Mrs Gloria Draper through her daughter Sue and Grandaughters Danniele and Dana. She was a really kindhearted and cool person. I only wish I had gotten to know her sooner. We Thank God for  the gift she was to others. Please know family that we are Praying for you.
